Motorola manufactured Google Nexus 6 possibly spotted in the wild

Rumors have been spilling onto the Internet of "Shamu", Google's next Nexus device and today we are learning a bit more. The rumored 5.9" device will be produced by Motorola and will have similar design cues to Motorola's current flagship, the Moto X. Although we have only seen mockups until this point, it looks like someone has finally caught the upcoming Nexus, in the wild.

While we can't see too much from the pictures (thanks to the protective cover), from the two images we can clearly make out some of the details of the device that seem to align with the earlier mockups. The device has a headphone jack on the top, along with a volume rocker and power button towards the middle of the device. The device also looks to have a speaker grill on the bottom and the top.

While Motorola hasn't verified or advertised what they will be releasing in the near future, it seems like all signs are confirming that Google will release a new Nexus device and tablet, later this year. While this is quite a bit of a jump in size from last year's model, we can only hope that the design will have a smaller footprint than similar sized monsters like the LG G Flex and iPhone 6 Plus
