Nintendo is teasing a weird new experience for the Switch

For some years now, Nintendo has focused its attention on creating unique experiences with its games, rather than following the trends seen on competing platforms. The Switch, in addition to its distinctive form factor, has been the birthplace of some of those experiences, like the Labo series of cardboard toys.

Now, it's time for yet another new weird concept to make its way to the hybrid console. Nintendo has posted a teaser video on its social made pages regarding an upcoming experience for the Switch. Based on the video, it seems to be a party game of sorts, requiring users to interact with accessories that house the Joy-Con controllers.

The accessories seen in the video are what appears to be a rubber wheel that's used in a variety of ways, and a strap that wraps around the user's leg to track its movements. The best way to understand it is probably to watch the video below.

Since the video never shows the game screen at any point, it's really not clear why users are doing what we see in the video, which just makes it even weirder. It shouldn't be too long until we get some answers, though, as Nintendo is promising to share more details on this mysterious experience on September 12.
