Nokia makes its Steel HR watch available for pre-order

It was a little over a year ago that Nokia purchased Withings, a manufacturer that focused on consumer health products like fitness trackers, smart scales, and the Activité line of smartwatches. Since that time, the Nokia has dolled out rebranded version of some of Withings products and has now made the Steel HR available to the public for pre-order.

If familiar with the Withings brand, this new watch from Nokia will look quite familiar, as it looks to be a near identical product. Like its standard Steel counterpart, the HR offers a screen that can offer health information like heart rate, step counter, distance, how many calories burned, and more. Furthermore, it can also provide text, call, and alerts when connected to a smartphone.

Where the Steel HR differs from other connected smartwatches, is in its battery life, which Nokia states will last up to 25 days. If you're someone that is active, the Steel HR does have a heart rate monitor and can be used in water up to a depth of 50 meters. The watch starts at $179.95 and will begin shipping in December.
