Nubia Red Magic gets new camouflage design, costs $438

It's been a while since we last heard of the Nubia Red Magic. The phone is aimed towards gamers, offers a robust set of specifications, and most importantly, is priced right. Now, there is a new limited edition color that is making its debut.

The phone, which can now be reserved through JD.com, will only be available in one configuration, offering 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The exterior of the rear is now draped in digital camouflage print that makes use of black, grey, and dark grey. As far as other specfications are concerned, they remain the same as the original model; a 5.99-inch 1080p 18:9 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 24MP rear camera with 4K recording, and an 8MP front-facing camera.

The company states that its handset is built with better ergonomics in mind, but doesn't look dull by any means, making use of an RGB LED light strip on the rear, which can be customized using 16 million different colors and four lighting effects. With anticipation that the smartphone will be used for long hours of gaming, it comes with an in-built "all-new air convection cooling system" that is comprised of three layers of graphite and grill vents, which can move heat through its unique "diamond-cut design" on the rear.

The handset will be made available through JD.com and will be priced at ¥2999 or around $438 USD.
