Overclockers UK introduce Room Scale VR in association with Vive

With the big name mobile manufacturers putting huge efforts into promoting VR and steady interest in the PC industry with Oculus at the helm growing, it's no surprise that we will soon have the first retail channel room scale VR experience in the UK.

Computer hardware and components giant Overclockers UK are set to open up an extension to their shop floor in the Midlands to accommodate a 20m² room where users can become immersed with the Vive VR platform, a joint partnership between Valve and HTC to bring virtual reality to gamers globally.

The Overclockers UK Room Scale VR Experience is set to launch with a special event, which will take
place at the Newcastle-Under-Lyme showroom on the 19th of March. This event is
open to the public and there is an online booking system in place allowing users to reserve their very
own VR Experience. After the event, the VR room will become a permanent feature of the showroom.
