Just before Christmas, Valve kicked off its last big sale of the year in the form of the Steam Winter Sale. With the company having just announced its top 100 best sellers for 2016, the Winter Sale would have provided a last minute sales revenue boost, with heavily discounted games becoming a more attractive digital stocking stuffer.
Now, ten days later, the Steam Winter Sale will soon draw to a close. According to the Steam website, approximately eight hours remain until "thousands of deals end" which puts the sale's end time as being January 2nd at 10AM Pacific Time.
In any case, if you've been sitting on the fence with regard to buying games via Steam then it is perhaps better to pull the trigger now before the countdown ends, rather than having to wait until the next sale comes along.
