Samsung lowers the price of the Galaxy Z Flip by $80

Samsung detailed its Galaxy Z Fold2 today, but that's not all of the foldable news that the company had in store. The Korean firm also quietly lowered the price of the Galaxy Z Flip, which is its flip phone-style foldable smartphone. The handset originally was priced at $1,380, but now it starts at $1,299.99.

To be clear, this is the 4G LTE model, which includes last-gen specs like a Snapdragon 855. For $150 more, you can get the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, which not only includes 5G connectivity, but a much faster Snapdragon 865+ processor. Of course, that model isn't being discounted at all.

The original Galaxy Z Flip only comes in Mirror Black and Mirror Purple, and it has 256GB of internal storage. You can buy it unlocked, and it comes in AT&T and Sprint flavors. There's no T-Mobile model of the 4G variant, but there is one for the 5G model.

Naturally, you can use Samsung Financing and trade-ins to get discounts, and you can get an installment plan for as little as $22.23 a month. If you want to check it out on Samsung.com, you can find it here.
