Sanctum 2 is free to claim on the Humble Store for the next two days

The Humble Store is giving away yet another free game, this time offering a Steam copy of Coffee Stain Studios' Sanctum 2. The game is a hybrid of the first-person shooter and tower defense genres.

It doesn't seem like the Humble Store is slowing down its free game giveaways during its Fall Sale. Last week it gave away Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition, followed up by Brutal Legend just a few days ago. And today, the store is giving away free Steam copies of Coffee Stain Studios' first-person tower defense game, Sanctum 2.

Launched back in 2013, the game is a combination of a first-person shooter and a tower defense game, with four character classes, as well as various loadouts of towers, weapons, and perks to choose from.

The game description, taken from its store page, reads:

Construct towers and walls during the building phase before the enemies attack, then jump into the fray and blast everything to pieces in FPS mode. You can progress through the single-player campaign yourself, or play with up to four friends in co-op to discover the secrets of the planet LOEK III and learn the backstory on why the aliens are so intent on destroying the Cores you are sworn to protect.

Strangely enough, even with all the Black Friday sales that are running across the internet, neither Sanctum nor Sanctum 2 seem to be on sale, making this a great opportunity to grab the free copy.

Sanctum 2 would usually cost $14.99, but you can claim it freely via the Humble Store for the next two days. The game is playable on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, and arrives as a Steam key.
