Silicon Power debuts its C50 USB drive that offers Type-C, Type-A, and micro-USB

As technology improves, we find new ways to fit larger storage options into smaller devices and boost data transfer speeds. Beyond the look and feel of the device, we have also created new interfaces that allow us to upload and download the data at a faster and more efficient rate. While we relied on USB Type-A for quite some time, and still do, a lot of manufacturers of smartphones, PCs, and other devices have slowly started to incorporate and transition to USB Type-C.

Silicon Power has recognized the need for a USB drive that supports multiple formats and has announced their latest storage product in the form of the C50. While there are many USB drives that support USB Type-A and Type-C, there aren't many that also support micro-USB. While it isn't as common a port on desktops and laptops, it can still be found on many tablets and smartphones. The C50 will be available in a 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB configurations.

Unfortunately, pricing isn't currently available but the drive will hit the market in the coming weeks and come with a five-year warranty.
