It was a little less than a year ago when Snap Inc unveiled its first piece of hardware, Spectacles. While many wondered when it would arrive into retail stores, the firm did something quite different, offering up the wearable through a traveling vending machine. This would make the product rare, causing a frenzy whenever a new location was announced. Later, a pop-up shop would be opened in New York, giving people a better opportunity to obtain it.
After making it exclusive to those that were in close proximity to either the pop-up shop or one of the locations where the vending machines would land, Snap finally made it available to the general public by allowing it to be purchased through its online store. While this option has been available towards the beginning of the year, it looks like there is a new online option when it comes to purchasing the device. Those that feel more comfortable purchasing from a major retailer will be happy to know that Amazon now has Spectacles in stock.
