As the launch date for one of the biggest video game releases in history draws near, many gamers couldn’t be more excited to get their hands on StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. However, in a twist of fate it seems that the entire cast of characters for the title has been leaked all over the internet.
The portraits, which first appeared on a Chinese website yesterday, reveal some of the main, supporting, and unknown characters for the real-time strategy game. It is worthy to note that the information contains numerous spoilers and has the potential to ruin many surprises for anticipated gamers.
Luckily, the folks over at IncGamers have put together a detailed list of the characters, separating the non-spoilers from the spoilers. The list includes obvious returning characters such as Jim Raynor, Zeratul, and Sarah Kerrigan.
Blizzard Entertainment has provided the following description of the highly-anticipated title. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is the sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s 1998 hit StarCraft, which has been hailed by players and critics worldwide as one of the top real-time strategy games of all time. Sporting a vibrant new 3D-graphics engine, StarCraft II will once again center on the clash between the protoss, terrans, and zerg, with each side deploying legions of veteran, upgraded, and brand-new unit types.
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is set to hit store shelves worldwide on July 27 for the PC and Mac.
