The first special sale event of Steam since the massive Winter Sale of last year is upon us, with Valve kicking off the Lunar New Year Sale, celebrating the new Year of the Rat. Even though the scale of it doesn't match the seasonal sales, there are still thousands of games discounted on the store, and another token system is here too.
Looking through the discounts, some highlights have The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition being discounted by 70%, 75% off Dragon Ball FighterZ, 20% off from Red Dead Redemption 2 and Jedi Fallen Order, as well as a 67% discount on the Resident Evil 2 remake.
Alongside the sale, Valve has also opened up another special event named the Night Market. Just like in previous sales, this lets customers earn tokens when purchasing games to unlock various bonuses on this Lunar Night Market, ranging from a $5 store coupon to chat emoticons and others bonuses.
This year's Steam Lunar New Year Sale will have a short run though, with it coming to an end on January 27 at 10AM PT.
