Surface Pro 4 gets firmware and driver updates with stability improvements

Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 is now well over four years old, but that doesn't mean Microsoft is completely done supporting it. Today, a new set of driver and firmware updates is rolling out to the 2-in-1, focusing mostly on stability and security improvements.

The updates are rolling out gradually, so you may not see them right away, and you'll need to be running Windows 10 version 1809 or newer in order for them to show up. Here's what's new:

As you can tell, most of the updates focus on system stability and security, but the updates to the Bluetooth driver mentions the addition of support for "new products". It's unclear what this is referring to, though it may be worth pointing out that Microsoft announced the Surface Headphones 2 and Surface Earbuds earlier this week.

If your specific device is being targeted, you should be able to find these updates in Windows Update, and they'll install as usual. If you don't see them, you'll need to wait a little longer for the rollout to broaden.
