T-Mobile US releases Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for Galaxy Note Edge

There's good news for owners of Samsung's Galaxy Note Edge on T-Mobile, as the US carrier has begun rolling out the Marshmallow update for the device. Yesterday, the carrier also released the update for its Galaxy Note 4.

The update - which weighs in at a chunky 1.52GB - bumps the OS version up to Android 6.0.1, and the software version installed on the device up to N915TUVU2CPE3.

There's no detailed changelog available for the update on T-Mobile's support site, but you can expect the usual Marshmallow goodies, along with Samsung's various tweaks and additions, including its TouchWiz interface, improved notifications, and more.

As always, bear in mind that it can take some time for over-the-air updates to reach all eligible devices, so if you don't see the update available for your Galaxy Note Edge immediately, don't panic just yet.
