Intel and DARPA have started a new project that will help the U.S. develop cutting edge ASIC chips domestically. They also aim to make the chips safe to manufacture in zero-trust environments.
Intel has announced that it is acquiring eASIC. With the purchase, Intel says it is acquiring a manufacturer of leading products and its world-class team. The deal will be finalised in Q3 2018.
