Microsoft has worked with Google in the Chromium project to bring a new Windows Spellcheck API to all Chromium browsers. The feature includes support for URLs, acronyms, email IDs, and more.
Microsoft has begun rolling out version 83 of its Chromium-based Edge browser, adding features such as extension sync. Unlike previous releases, this update isn't available to everyone at once.
Today, Microsoft is promoting Edge 83 to the Beta channel. It contains a bunch of new features, such as more inking options for PDFs, line focus in Immersive Reader, Collections features, and more.
Following Google's suit, Microsoft announced today that it is resuming Edge updates. Edge 81 will be available in the stable channel in early April, and Edge 82 is officially canceled.
