Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy finale will release next week

It was late last year when Telltale Games announced that it was working on a Guardians of the Galaxy game, and almost a year later, it is almost time for its final episode to come out. As with all the previous episodes of the game, the fifth and final one's name is also derived from a classic song, this time arriving with the title "Don't Stop Believin'", taken from the Journey's hit number from 1981.

Anyone looking to avoid spoilers may want to skip out on seeing the final episode's trailer above as well as the episode description that was provided by Telltale:

In the aftermath of an unbearable sacrifice, the Guardians finally fracture. With her opposition in shambles, Hala renews her campaign of death and devastation, carving a path of indiscriminate destruction en route to Knowhere. If he hopes to avoid catastrophe (and save his own skin), Star-Lord must search his feelings, reunite his team, and mount one final mission to save the galaxy...again.

With Telltale Games revealing earlier this year that it is working on new seasons for a number of its games, the Guardians of the Galaxy series getting a second season is not out of the question. But the developer has not made an announcement regarding any sequel plans just yet.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy episode five, Don't Stop Believin', will be available on Windows, macOS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android devices starting November 7 for anyone interested in finding out how these Guardians' storyline comes to a close. Funnily enough, the Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two's fourth episode is also set to launch on November 7.
