This Weekend's PC Game Deals: Killing Floor 2 for $12 and plenty of DRM-free Telltale games

This Weekend's PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals are amassed into an easy to follow format, in one place, from all over the internet. So kick back, relax and hold on to your wallets.

Video game bundles have quickly become a common sight in the PC gaming world, and the $12 Humble Monthly Bundle is always one to keep an eye on.

The early unlock for the monthly bundle of August is Tripwire Interactive's 2016 cooperative shooter, Killing Floor 2. Although the game can be played solo, it shines the most when playing with others, with the game allowing up to six players to fight against hordes of murderous clones.

Keep in mind that even more games will be included in the bundle once it comes to a close on September 4, and active subscribers can enjoy a 10% discount on all Humble Store purchases.

If you have ever wanted to dabble in game development, this is a perfect bundle to begin that venture. The Humble GameMaker Bundle is offering a number of indie games, their source codes, as well as the popular software that was used in making them, GameMaker: Studio.

Purchasing the $1 tier nets you the GameMaker: Studio 1.4 Pro software, 'Cook, Serve, Delicious!', INK Deluxe Edition, and Uncanny Valley. The tier also includes Extreme Burger Defense, Freeway Mutant, Shep Hard, and Angry Chicken: Egg Madness!, with the four of them arriving with their source codes included.

Going for the 'pay more than the average' tier (currently at $10.91) grants you GameMaker: Studio's HTML5 Module, Solstice, Home, Galactic Missile Defense and its source code, as well as the source codes of 10 Second Ninja X GameMaker Edition. In addition, this tier arrives with the source codes for a number of games from the previous tier, namely INK, Uncanny Valley, and 'Cook, Serve, Delicious!'.

The last tier for this bundle costs $15, coming with GameMaker: Studio modules for Android, iOS, and Windows UWP, as well as source codes for Solstice and Home. it also gives you a copy of the game Flop Rocket along with its source code and UWP package.

However, that's not all, as in exchange for providing the Humble Store with your email address, you can get free copies of Extreme Burger Defense, Freeway Mutant, and 10 Second Ninja X GameMaker Edition. This is available below the bundle tiers that are on the GameMaker bundle's page.

Returning from last week is the Humble Saints Row Bundle, which has since been expanded with additional games from the publisher Deep Silver's roster. The Bundle's $1 tier, while light on Saints Row games, nets you Homefront, Deadlight: Director's Cut, Risen 3: Titan Lords Complete Edition, and Saints Row 2.

Bumping up to the second tier, which currently stands at $6.21, gives you Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, Mighty No. 9, and Killer is Dead - Nightmare Edition. Meanwhile, the newly introduced titles to this tier include Sacred Franchise Pack, Secret Files: Tunguska, as well as Lost Horizon.

Next, the $15 tier gets you copies of Homefront: The Revolution Standard Edition, Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package, Saints Row IV: Game of the Century Edition, and Saint's Row: Gat Out of Hell - Devil's Workshop Pack DLC. Note that Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package version replaces the previous tier's Saints Row: The Third, meaning you do not get an extra copy of the game.

Finally, we have a $75 tier, if you could even call it that, which is simply a pre-order for Volition's upcoming game, Agents of Mayhem. However, before picking up this tier, we recommend looking at the Pre-order Madness section below for a better deal on this game.

As with all things available in the Humble Store, these bundles also give away a portion of their proceeds to charity, a great excuse to grab some fantastic games while helping out a good cause.

It seems like EA's plan is to give away every Battlefield 4 expansion out for free, with last week's Final Stand expansion being replaced by Dragon's Teeth this week in the publisher's On the House offer. You don’t need to own Battlefield 4 to claim this expansion, so if you're planning to pick up the base game in the future, be sure to grab this free deal before it gets replaced.

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault is also available in the same promotion page for any classic shooter fans to grab.

Pre-order Madness

Pre-ordering games may be frowned upon by many these days, but it doesn't hurt looking at some great pre-order discounts. The post-E3 gaming world is choke full of dazzling games to order before they release, so here is a selection of deals we picked for the occasion.

The Evil Within 2 - $47.20 at GamesPlanet: Arriving as a direct sequel to Bethesda published, 2014 horror title, The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2 marks the return of Sebastian Castellanos as the main protagonist, who is going back to the world of STEM on a quest to save his daughter.

XCOM 2: War of the Chosen - $32.75 at GameBillet: Announced at E3 back in June, War of the Chosen is an expansion heading to XCOM 2, introducing brand new enemies, allies and even zombie-like hordes that attack anything in their sight. The expansion is set to be even larger in scope than the Enemy Within expansion that arrived for the original XCOM.

Agents of Mayhem - $44.57 on GamesPlanet: A brand new open world game from the developer behind the massively popular Saints Row franchise, Volition. It is also set in the Saints Row universe, but instead of the usual humorous, shenanigan-filled cooperative campaigns from the original series, this game gives players access to a range of Super Agents that are tasked with taking down the evil organization, Legion and its leader, Morningstar, with whatever means necessary.

Big Deals

If you hurry, there is a big deal available on BundleStars right now that offers three LEGO games of your choosing for just $9.99. The games that are up for grabs include 15 brilliant and humorous LEGO titles from Batman, Marvel, Harry Potter, and other franchises.

With the beginning of the weekend comes a wide variety of sales from various PC game stores, and below, we have handpicked a selection of games that are near or below their historical discount rates. Be quick, however, as some of them won't be available at these rates past this weekend.

DRM-Free Goodness

Now, with all those pesky DRM-filled games out of the way, let's take look at some DRM-free deals that are available. The GOG store is offering a score of DRM free Telltale Games developed titles this weekend, so be sure to grab some of them if you're interested in excellent story heavy games.

And that is it for our pick of this weekend's PC game deals folks, and hopefully, some of you have enough self-restraint to not break the bank adding games to your ever growing backlogs. Of course, there is a gargantuan amount of other deals available all over the interwebs if you search hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those as well.
