Today's cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile may fix the exposed photos bug

According to several sources, build 14393.823 will be released today on Patch Tuesday to Windows 10 Mobile, fixing the bug where locked phones can be used to scroll through a user's pictures.

Microsoft may release a cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile today with the build number 14393.823, which is a rather large jump from the current production build 14393.693 released just over a month ago for PC and Mobile.

The build showed up on the BuildFeed website in the "release" branch, and according to several websites, has been approved for this month's Patch Tuesday release.

The good news here is that although we don't know what fixes are included in the release yet, or if it'll also be released for PCs (which is highly likely), a comment made here by Neowin member "yepp" claims that a bug in Windows 10 Mobile which leaves your photos exposed has been fixed in this build.

The latest Preview build for the Windows 10 Anniversary Update for both PC and Mobile got pushed to Insiders in the Release Preview ring on January 25th as build 14393.726, although this is no indication that this is what will end up on production devices.
