Endgadget is reporting that the iPhone will go on sale at Walmart on 12/28. The rumored price of $99 seems to be just that, a rumor. According to an alleged internal memo, the iPhone will be $197 for the 8GB model and 16GB model will run $297, both with 2 year contracts. An internal pilot program kicks off today at 488 stores across the nation. See link for copy of the memo.
