Minecraft has enjoyed immense success over the past few years and with plenty of fans worldwide, it only makes sense to hold an annual event to celebrate the game. If you weren't able to pick up tickets to MineCon 2018, you're in luck, as part of the event is being broadcast on YouTube, Mixer, and Twitch.
The broadcast started at 9am PT and will continue until around 12pm. The live stream will kick off with MineCon Earth which seems to be a variety show involving elements from the game and SCIENCE! Perhaps the more interesting portion is the developer panel, which offered details about making maps with MCEdit, working with SMP, modding Minecraft, and more.
If you're the type of person that just is interested in the merchandise from MineCon, you can head to J!NX and Target to pick up exclusive items related to the convention.
