World of Warcraft update will bring Twitter integration and S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera with filters

Blizzard is testing a new patch that will bring a 'S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera' to the "World of Warcraft". This new item will allow characters to take selifes. Twitter integration is also being tested.

Although this hasn't hit the official servers quite yet, it looks like the Public Test Realms (PTR) has received a new update that will allow players to unlock the ability to take selfies, use filters, and also start tweeting to the outside world with Twitter integration.

The WoW 6.1 patch was released a couple of days ago and like most patches looks to improve the gameplay mechanics and possible issues with the game. But, within the long list of changes, the most notable addition will the be the integration of Twitter. According to the patch notes, Twitter integration will allow characters to send tweets for items, achievements, and screenshots directly from within the game.

Also mimicking life, WoW has also created new quests that will allow players to obtain a camera that will give your character the ability to take selfies. A follow-up quest will allow you to obtain a more robust camera that can implement filters. While these changes and additions are all subject to change, it does add a bit of fun to a game that many consider to be a bit long in the tooth.
