Microsoft has just kicked off a brand-new Free Play Days promotion for Xbox users looking to play something fresh this weekend. Just like last week, five games are landing for players to try. From them, only two are exclusive for Game Pass subscribers, while the remaining three games can be played without any sort of membership requirement.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can now jump into House Flipper 2 and Phasmophobia for no extra cost. The remaining three games, Descenders Next, The Outlast Trials, and EA SPORTS FC 26, are available to all Xbox players. As always, any progress made during the weekend also carries over automatically if you decide to purchase a game afterward.
From the games, House Flipper 2 is a renovation simulator experience that has players buying, repairing, and selling broken-down dwellings with a wide range of tools and customization options. Next, Phasmophobia is for horror fans, where groups of players can investigate locations to identify different types of ghosts using various supernatural detection tools and teamwork.

For even more multiplayer horror action, The Outlast Trials arrives with its survival gameplay involving monsters, traps, and objectives. There is now a PvP game mode available too. Sports fans can jump into EA Sports FC 26, the latest entry in the football/soccer franchise, coming with career mode, multiplayer, manager, and more. Lastly, Descenders Next is an extreme sports game involving action-packed gameplay across snow slopes, rocky terrain, and dirt tracks in solo or multiplayer modes.
Here are the announced games and the platforms they are available to play on:
- House Flipper 2 (Xbox Series X|S)
- Phasmophobia (Xbox Series X|S)
- Descenders Next (Game Preview) (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC)
- The Outlast Trials (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
- EA SPORTS FC 26 (Xbox Series X|S)
This weekend's Free Play Days promotions will end on Sunday, October 26, at 11:59 pm PT. Following this, expect another round of games to enter the program next week on October 30.
