Xbox Game Pass adding seven more games in October including State of Decay

An announcement by Microsoft has unveiled the list of games being introduced next month to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

Highlights from the new entries include the zombie survival title, State of Decay, Capcom's fighting game Super Street Fighter IV, and Saints Row IV's standalone expansion, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell.

The seven games joining the service on October 1 are listed below:

  • Super Street Fighter IV
  • State of Decay
  • Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell
  • The Bug Butcher
  • Costume Quest 2
  • Maldita Castilla EX – Cursed Castle
  • Tower of Guns

These games will be joining the over 100 list of titles already available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox One consoles. The entire selection of games being offered in the service can be found here.

The Xbox Game Pass subscription is available for $9.99 a month, and for those on the fence about joining, Microsoft also offers a 14-day trial for giving it a try. Moreover, the company has allowed Xbox Game Pass memberships to be purchased using Xbox Gift Cards as well as leftover credit, in addition to the usual methods of subscribing to the service.

The free titles heading to Xbox Live Gold subscribers for the month of October were also revealed yesterday, bringing Gone Home, Medal of Honor: Airborne, and more.
