It's that time of year when the Internet becomes flooded with "best of" articles in attempt summarize the moments of 2015 into a single post. Luckily, YouTube's summation of the year is a bit more entertaining, as it leverages viral moments, popular stars and its own content creators to make an entertaining mash-up video.
If you have never watched any of the previous year's videos, the 'YouTube Rewind' video attempts to encapsulate the most interesting moments and sounds from 2015. The video runs a touch over six minutes and offers an upbeat soundtrack that is mixed by "The Hood Internet" using a remix produced by Avicii.
Much like previous "Rewind" videos, the tone is upbeat and the amount of memes, moments, and persons included is overwhelming. Although this doesn't encapsulate everything that happened in 2015, it's a good recap and reminder of some of things that we might have forgotten about over the year.
