Moto G7 Power unboxing and first impressions

Earlier this month, I reviewed the Moto G7, and once again it sets the bar for the mid-range. But Motorola launched a variety of G7 devices, and now I've got my hands on the Moto G7 Power.

The G7 Power is a bit lower end than the standard G7, with a 720p display instead of 1080p, and a single-lens camera. But what it does have is a 5,000mAh battery, promising days of battery life. Not only that, but it supports 15W TurboCharging, and Motorola says that you can get nine hours of use out of 15 minutes of charging.

It also comes with the same Snapdragon 632 chipset, a big upgrade from the Snapdragon 400 series chips that were in previous Moto G-series handsets. Aside from the big boost in performance, it allows for capabilities not often found in $249 smartphones, such as 4K video capture.

Naturally, it also includes the camera features that Motorola brought down from the premium Moto Z series, such as Cinemagraph. Check out the unboxing video below:
