The Edifier M60 is a 2.0 (stereo) speaker system built into wooden cabinets, each housing a silk dome tweeter and an aluminum diaphragm mid-woofer driver, with a combined rated output of 66 watts RMS. The product uses a Class‑D amplifier with digital signal processing (DSP), including an active crossover and dynamic range control, and playback runs at 24‑bit/96 kHz.
Connectivity covers USB‑C, AUX, and Bluetooth 5.3, with LDAC support for high‑resolution wireless audio from compatible devices. A capacitive touch panel sits on the top of the speaker, and it lights up automatically when nearby. Edifier’s ConneX app adds playback control, sound effect customization, among other utilities.
Frequency response is stated to go down to 58 Hz and the speakers pack a rear bass reflex port to improve low frequency output. Edifier claims the tweeters can reach as high as 40 KHz which means they can function like super-tweeters, adding an "airy"-ness to the sound.
The package also includes aluminum stands angled to reduce reflections and align sound at ear level to maximize stereo imaging and soundstage. Frequency response is stated to go down to 58 Hz and the speakers pack a rear bass reflex port to improve low frequency output.
