The discount applies to the heatsink-bearing 2TB and 4TB models. Launched at $319 and $569 respectively, these drives are now available for nearly half the original price.
The Samsung 9100 PRO SSD is the first Samsung SSD to offer full PCIe Gen5 speeds. Its sequential read/write speeds reach all the way up to 14,800GB/s and 13,400GB/s write (2,200K/2,600K IOPS random speeds). In addition to better performance, the 9100 PRO SSD has significantly improved energy efficiency thanks to a new 5nm controller. Samsung says the drive is 49% more energy efficient than the outgoing model, the 990 PRO.
Each Samsung 9100 PRO SSD has a limited five-year warranty or 1200 TBW (2TB model) and 2400 TBW (4TB model). All variants are also rated for 1.5 million hours of mean-time between failures.
