It's there for a reason, but that reason isn't so you can run pirated copies of the game.

It's there so you can still host if the login servers are down, playing on an locked down network where you can't access the login servers, etc.

If this is in creative mode. I have an underground area which could have a station going to it. It is full of lava so it might be pretty to look at riding through.

My house is easy to find, it has glowstone as a roof. The entrance to the mine is in the water at the back of the house.
