Its because of Crackpack, there are a lot of base's and things going on and it is slowing down to a crawl, i heard Crackpack had a Memory Leak bug somewhere, its a shame because it was great when it first started and its become to laggy for me aswell that's why i don't play on it no more.

I think Crackpack needs to be replaced with a updated decent pack, i heard the new Direwolf Pack is great, with all the latest/updated mods.  Just means a server reset again :(

Crackpack just seems too heavy. I would love a lighter modpack with just a few of the fan favorites such as Tinkers.

I'm at work so can't look up modpacks right now but I could definitely recommend a few to look at if anyone's interested :)

edit: If we wanted to put our own pack together with just mods we want I know how to make custom packs with the TechnicLauncher we could always make a Neowin Pack

@Nuculi Could you please remove your chunk ownership marks on the Nether? You've taken ownership of the Nether portal and base I built, which means I can't open the doors or chest to get out. Thx

There not active so it wold make no diffrence, only active and work when you put ender pearls in them.

But ill remove them when i get the chance :)

Just curious, does someone have a backup copy of the previous worlds? I think the best one was the one from two resets back. Where there was an ender farm built up in the end and there was a elaborate rail system. That was a fantastic build.

was that the one with the neowin castle? if so id like to see that one again too

Not sure what you mean by that. You have claimed ownership of some chunks in the Nether. My ender portal is in those chunks, along with a simple base. Because you own them I can't do things like open doors, or build in those chunks.

Sorry misread your original post,  ill remove them for you :)

EIDT : Done :)

Hey guys, I put together a lite 1.10.2 Modpack we could try out and build upon. The server file includes Sponge with a couple basic plugins (craftbook, essentials commands [includes /home and other common commands], Login Damage Protection)

Mods currently in Neowincraft:

Biomes O' Plenty

Ender Storage

Grave Stone

Infernal Mobs

Inventory Tweaks

Iron Chest

Journey Map

lite loader (client)

Nether Core

NEI/JEI

Optifine (client)

Tinkers Construct

Tinker I/O

Tinker Tool Leveling

But that means resetting the world again. I guess if everyone else is OK with it...

Sponge has Multi-World support so we could always have the current world loaded into it's own dimension (at least the vanilla world anyway. the current modded world is probably incompatible) :)

Plus 1.10.2 has a lot of good improvements over 1.7.10 such as the better combat system :)

Plus we would have full control this way and can modify the pack as we like on the fly and Technic will update

    • BATorrent 3.0.3 is out.
    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
    • Yeah, all web browsers seem to have some junk in them these days. The regular Brave browser has a lot of unnecessary stuff in it, similar to Microsoft Edge, so I don't see any benefits of using Brave over Microsoft Edge if you already have Microsoft Edge fully set up with adblockers and that. The cleanest or best free browser outside of 'Microsoft Edge' I’ve tried so far is 'Opera Air'. It still has some bloat, but nowhere near as much as Brave browser, for example. I also really like the web browser called 'Floorp' that is based on Firefox. I have a system wide Adblocking program for Windows 11 that doesn't just blocks ads in the the web browser, but over the whole thing. I don't really need a web browser with an inbuilt adblocker because of that.
