George Zimmerman rescued man from truck crash

If Hitler's last act on Earth was saving a baby from a burning building would you consider him a good guy?

Oh no doubt.

That Trayvon attacked him without provocation and George defended himself, we know.

Still doesn't answer question, "why the hell did Zimmerman try to be a super cop and rescue the neighborhood"?

What's weird is that this wasn't a case of racism and yet the president, a lot of the left and some of the news media are desperately trying to make it racist....why?

Had it been a Latino teenager killed by a black man there is no way that the events would have played out the same. Heck, a black woman from Florida fired warning shots to scare off her abusive ex-husband and was jailed for twenty years. The reality is that the justice system in the US is institutionally racist and racism is still prevalent in US society. Pointing that out cannot be construed as "desperately trying to make it racist".

Whats weird is the Zimmerman defenders are the ones bringing up race, constantly ;)

It's a classic case of projection. The racists claim that the people accusing them of being racist are the real racists. Fox News has taught them well.

I'm seeing the opposite, always Trayvon defenders calling it a racist attack, and Zimmerman a racist, because Trayvon was black...

Stalking a 17 year old following him with your car does not count as "without provocation" IMHO...

Maybe he was found not guilty...  But I still think all he had to do was call 911 and leave it at that, and Martin would still be alive...  But no, he had to follow the kid..  If he hadn't done that, the supposed thug Martin wouldn't have attacked Zimmerman, and Martin wouldn't have been killed.

Sounds like you know little of the case or the facts established during it.

You do realise that the only person convicted of a crime during the case was Trayvon Martin, right? Let that guide your further study as you investigate what really happened. Being fed garbage by CNN is intellectually abhorrent.

I get tired of people saying Trayvon could of been their son.  Lol I would like to see how many people can honestlly say that including Obama after all his past is dug up and put on display for the public. Which WILL happen if they bring a civil case to Zimmerman cause all of that crap they wouldnt allow in the murder trial will be allowed.

That's because you're missing the point. It's not that Trayvon Martin was black, it's that George Zimmerman had a history of racial profiling, used racial taunts against co-workers, had a history of violence (domestic violence and assaulting a police officer) and ignored advice from emergency responders. He was a vigilante who went against neighbourhood watch rules and pursued an innocent teenager, resulting in his death. And there's simply no way that had a black man shot a Latino teenager that he'd have simply been allowed to go free without arrest for 40 days.

If you're not willing to accept that race was an issue here then you're just not being reasonable.

Defending your life when attacked is a bad act?

No. But the issue here is that Zimmerman was physically stronger, was armed and initiated the pursuit. Martin was an innocent teenager being chased by an armed vigilante. Therefore Martin too had a right to self-defence, one which could be argued was more pressing (what with him being innocent, unarmed and physically weaker). The point is that you can't allow armed people to chase after innocent people and shoot them dead when they fight back, especially when that involves a child.

Chased by an armed vigilante?  If that was the case why didn't George just gun Trayvon down when Trayvon wasn't looking?  Why wait until Trayvon was beating his head into the ground to fire his weapon?  That doesn't sound like a vigilante to me.

It is when you put yourself into that situation by creating it.

Except he didn't, the trial even concluded that Martin was in the best position to avoid the situation by leaving the area (where he wasn't supposed to be in the first place), then he could also have chosen NOT to assault Zimmerman. Martin created the situation and escalated it, you probably need to stop getting details from the MSM.

"stronger" - evidence required

"initiated the pursuit" - what pursuit was that?

"chased/chase" - evidence of the "chase" please. Please provide your timeline.

The rest of your post is just filling in blanks to fit with a particular narrative which was blown apart in the trial with the evidence presented.

vig?i?lan?te noun

a member of a volunteer committee organized to suppress and punish crime summarily (as when the processes of law are viewed as inadequate); broadly : a self-appointed doer of justice

That definition doesn't fit what happened at all. Calling 911 to report a crime or suspected crime makes you a vigilante now?

Yes, you can report it but if you take things in to your own hands and do not wait for the proper authorities to address the problem...thats where the problem is.

He was right in doing what he did in the Trayvon case and he was right in doing what he did today, this guy is not a vigilante, he's not some gun totting loony looking for someone to shoot. He's a good guy.

He didn't take anything into his own hands. Taking it into his own hands would be if he tried to stop Trayvon or engaged him in any way. Zimmerman did nothing aside from walk down a sidewalk and talk on the phone.

It doesnt matter why he was walking sidewalk, it did not give Trayvon the right to turn and attack him.

Zimmerman posed 0 threat to Trayvon until Trayvon started the fight. Assaulting an innocent person for daring to walk down the sidewalk behind him turned Trayvon from an innocent kid into a criminal and thats why he was killed and thats why Zimmerman was found not guilty.

People keep saying it would have been different if Trayvon was of a different race & that is speculative horsecrap that cant be proven either way. What can be proven is that if Trayvon (no matter his race) would still be alive if he didn't decide to be a 'big man' and attack Zimmerman.

Nope, he had no such confirmed history against blacks, in fact he took issue where a homeless black man was assaulted by a police lieutenants son and not arrested then went to black churches to urge action. Zimmerman's best friend Joe Oliver is black. Not really the actions of a racist, so you and the rest of the progs need to stop with the race baiting as it was not an issue in this case. You also have thin facts on his "history of violence" He and a friend were caught for underage drinking, they arrested them, they struggled and to pile on charges and make them stick he was charged with assaulting a police officer, where you can be charged with such in America if you swear at an officer while being arrested. This charge was dropped, these are never dropped when a physical assault takes place. Zimmerman has never even been charged with much less convicted of domestic violence, nor have any complaints been registered with any PD, that leftist spin/smear comes from when he and his ex-wife submitted simultaneous restraining orders against one another during the divorce, and because a reason needs to be filled in they BOTH put in domestic violence (which can even be construed as threatening one another during an argument). both were granted.

Conversely, Martin had a confirmed violent history of fighting, drug use, and having possession of stolen property. While neither is squeeky clean, Martin is a hell of a lot further from the angelic innocent that you and the rest of the progs are trying to paint him as, and fits the bill to have been the one to initiate the violence in this incident.
