So we have an ongoing discussion over here:

https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1194887-2014-random-text-thread/page-604#entry596535057

Basically, what does Neowin prefer, catz or dogs?

Also, quoting Yoda, there is no maybe, do or do not, so no "why not both" :p  (or something along those lines any way )

My vote:

Dogs are great going outdoors; hiking, camping, companionship.  Cats are great indoors; fun, easy care, and the ones I have owned, very affectionate.

As I said in the text thread, I am bi-pet!   :P

Yup.

My brother takes his dogs to hiking sometimes.   They all have a blast.

Its not

Which do you like ?

its

Which is smarter ? :punk:

Just delete vote and the options reappear.

Dogs can be trained to detect cancer, help blind people, and do chores for the disabled and elderly. So dogs are smarter. :p

(Note: I don't mind cats. I just prefer dogs and like messing with you)

I voted cats, but I like some breeds of dogs too.... just not many.

and cats always loved me. my friends cats allow me to do things, they don't even allow the owners to do.

one time i came over to watch a movie, and i was sitting on a couch with a nice pillow behind me...

only when i tried to adjust it 30 minutes later, i realized it was a cat.     and the owner were in shock, since the cat normally is very defensive.

anywhere there is a cat, and i sit down... the cat is near me, or on me within minutes, whether i ignore it or go get it myself... makes no difference.

(the only exceptions were cats that were dumped and then adopted by stranger again... they usually don't trust no one)

as the cats like me, i tend to like cats back.   but it is a close call.

The poll results say differently. :p

it is mostly males voting, and it is well know fact about cat ladies...

PS.   shiba, akita, huskys and german shepherds are awesome....

but i would only consider them living in a large house with backyard in countryside.

never in a multistory appartment as i normally life to live.

keeping such dogs in small space is just cruel.....  yet i see at least two akitas and one husky in my building :(

i hope they take them out for a run at least twice a day...  but i doubt it, as the owners look unhealthy...

You should keep your sexual life private.

    • They are neither of those things They cause virtually zero issues to end users as when leveraged correctly they are invisible. They aren't 'DRM', because, they're nothing to do with DigitalRightsManagement Some Anti-Cheat services I did see are starting to *use* the TPM to store creds/tokens, which it's for, but it's not involved beyond that. I would suggest doing some reading, both articles are fairly lengthy, but for MS Learn they're actually pretty decent at explaining the concepts.
