Ditto. I didn't know about the XML version, so I was getting the info from the profile page also. Turns out it is not effecient, it took more bandwidth and new requests were made each time an image was created. I'm guessing that's the main reason they blocked us.

Hopefully we can get this "misunderstanding" resolved and they will unblock us. We will switch to the XML version and implement caching, to resolve the request issues and put less of a load on their servers. Bandwidth was not a problem.

We could use you on our team if you're interested. :)

yep because each time some one viewed a page with your sig, it was making requests to their servers.

I joind when the group first started, then I got restricted from Neowin (I was a bad boy), then this thread started (I only got to post again today).

But some custome uptime images would be kool :)

hey, we need some caching servers.. what that means is that your server will request and store stats. Our main servers will randomly choose from a list of cache servers to request the stats and generate the images.

It's easy, all you have to do is put this 'cache' script on your host and PM me, so I can add you to the list.
