LimeMaster
Would it be possible to tie filters like the Mini Spy & NSFW filters to the user account instead of being cookie based? I ask this because a lot of people browse Neowin on multiple devices. I've also seen it mentioned quite a lot the past few days. +E.Worm Jimmy, Victor Rambo, Brandon H and 3 others 6 Share

DaveLegg Developer Posted February 1, 2017 Developer Share Posted February 1, 2017 Technically there's no reason why not. If we did it, I think it would have to be opt-in though. For example, at work I filter out the off-topic forums from minispy, at home I filter out a subset of them on my laptop, but all of them are visible on my desktop so I can spot spammers posting there from across the room DConnell, LimeMaster and The Evil Overlord 3 Share

I don't want the NSFW stuff in the Spy at work, but I want to be able to see it there at home.

The Evil Overlord
I agree, nsfw, rwi, mm, do, and so on should be opt in by default, this would help and benefit those members who are only interested in tech news and help DConnell, +Gary7, +Raze and 1 other 4 Share
