Boom.

And not totally unexpected given the Fate of the other block 0 vehicles. SN15+ are different critters but some of them will fail too, the hope is in different ways.

Eventually they run out of moles to whack, just like the Falcon 9 landings which are now routine. Boo-birds joked and posted memes about them too...but no one is laughing now.

This new structure will be located at SpaceX's Launch Site. The structure will be approx. 0.5 miles from the beach, and within 2800' of USFWS property. Nearby airfields include the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport.

Description of Proposal:

SpaceX is proposing a 469' tall launch tower with 10' lightning rod to lift its new rocket and booster on the launch mount, and to catch the Super-Heavy booster upon return from launch. The tower will be constructed out of structural steel trusses to allow the mechanical arms to lift vehicles.

Another giant propellant tank for the orbital pad's tank farm.

SpaceX rolls their own tanks using the Starship/Super Heavy ring fab equipment.
