Oohhhh... that didn't occur to me. You CAN change it in a theme: Find the .jar file for your theme. Change the extension to .zip, open it. Search around, the image for the tab close button is there, somewhere. Replace it, change the extension back to .jar, and you're good to go.

Thanks! gonan try that.

Sweet, you just increased my mozilla knowledge I shall file away this tidbit.

Hope that answered his question.

edit: Guess it did. Hope you find the image you want to replace it with man.

I've never used this before. I've always used IE. I've been loving MYIE2 a lot though. I like the java options, download manager, and speed. IMO, MYIE2 is much easier to use and get through. The tabs are messy and are not grouped by site. Can only have so many tabs per window. I can't get it to open up links even though it's the default browser. It crashed the first time running it trying to sort favorites/bookmarks. This browser looks promising, but so far there are things i really don't like.

are you sure you tried Firefox? firefox is very fast compared to MYIE2 or anyone browser (btw try other sites if you was testing on neowin, neowin is slow as crap right now so that may be your problem there) and for all the tab complaints get the TBE extension from http://white.sakura.ne.jp/~piro/xul/_tabex...tml.en#download

and the crashing issue i've never heard of that happening but maybe someone else can help out with that

It may have been worded wrong, but I really like it's speed.

EDIT: FireFox game me an error, this needs deleted. I'm not finding it.

what was the error it gave you?

i see you said this was first time using Firefox bu to me sounds like you have previous older build of Firebird or even Phoenix and the extensions are messing up the Firefox version

Well, I gave it a try. It's faster, but I like MYIE2 much better. If I go on a fast site, it loads up fast in IE anyways. Not going to make that big a a difference seeing that I hate it's interface.

BTW, how do I delete posts?

can't delete posts...you know Firefox is skinable right?

take a look here http://texturizer.net/firebird/themes/ for Themes...also lots of others around the net

btw Neowin newsposters, you guys didn't add Firefox to the software news today (pretty sure everyone knows its out now but still) :D

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
