Hi I'm new to neowin have been usin it 4 news and decided to try the forums.

...

if there is a way to check what version you have please tell me.

Dude above answered this question, but I wanted to mention that since you joined today, and if you downloaded it today, then you have the latest version that is mentioned on the first post, which should be 1.62b. Also, welcome to the forums.

RCube, nice work man, but I have a problem with the way the calendar handles the alarms.

After you have put in several, it locks up and you can't even remove older ones.  I had to go and manually remove them from the .ini file just to make it usable again.  Is there a way to increase the ammount of alarms?

hum, can you reproduce this? If so, show me how.

I just tried it and addd about 30 alarms and have no problem removing them.

Alot of the features some of you have requested are on my todo list already. :)

I was wondering would it be possible to add a world holiday feature to the calendar and make it customizable?

Lets say, for instance, Christmas, New Years, etc..., well basicly what you would see in a calendar and also if people have some personal holidays from work or someone has a religious holiday, I could go on but you know what I mean, right?

An other thing to add to that is, whenever their is a holiday, the date box will be colored so that we know that it's a holiday.

I was thinking maybe some how this can all be connected to the alarm feature and all the holiday info can be added to the "event" file?

Oh and before I forget maybe add an other option to choose different stages of holidays, example: all, personal or ones that everyone celebrates.

Anyways, this is just an idea.

First I'd like to say very nice app and many thanks for sharing. In earlier posts I saw it mentioned you were looking for an icon. I am no professional, but here is an initial attempt. I am working on another possible option and will post it once complete.

Once again thanks for a great customization utility!!!

My first post here @ Neowin.

Great job on LClock! I've been using it for the longest time but have never really gotten around to fully customizing it yet. I sat down this morning and created a custom start button because the green button just wasn't doing it for my Royale theme. Here's my custom Start buttons. Feel free to use these and pass them around.

Keep in mind, these buttons were made ONLY for the Royale theme, if you use these with any other theme other than Royale, the colors on the right side of the button won't match! I'll be creating more customized start buttons very soon!

    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
    • Everything they say you can already do yourself on the registry by changing some things.
    • Artist's renderings are so much nicer to view than the real thing, don't you think?
