I agree with this guy, no way could it fall on it's own, I also find it odd that the city of new yorks underground system needed replaced due to increase in traffic, but the could not do anything because of the cost, the amount of cables and pipes for all the building that were behind the subway walls and under the streets (just a few feet). Now the city of new york does not have to worry about it anymore as the country will pick up the tab as it was mosty destroyed in the "attack".

Unbelievable. Simply unbelieveable. 3000 + people die - and you yell government conspiracy.

Have your head checked.

Well, i don't believe that the pentegon was act of terrorism, CONSPIRISY!!!!, a plane with a 50 foot wing pan cannot make such a small hole, about 20ft wide. I think it was a shoulder mounted rocket

That's one hell of a shoulder fired rocket then. A LAW wouldn't do that nor a RPG or AT-4, a Javelin couldn't either, what kind of shoulder fired rocket are we talking now? It'd have to be something like a shoulder fired peacemaker missile to do that kind of damage.

In short it was not a shoulder fired rocket.

While I do agree that the whole attack on the 2 building was a terrorist attack Im heavely questioning the incident that happened with the Pentagon.. I mean, where did the plane go? You cant make a plane that big just disappear and it definitely wasnt destroyed in the crash totally.

mAcOdIn, maybe it was a jet that fired a missle?

yes. that's it. A U.S. plane blew up the pentagon, only moments after the al queida terrorists blew up the trade centers.

An who exactly said that it was a US plane?

Do you have any other explanations to where the plane body went? It was a pretty big plane which made a damn small hole in the building... Might be hard to believe but its possible.. especially with Bush there.

Anyway, dont jump to conclusions.

Holy sh*t dude, you replied to every post in this forum???? You should really get off your computer and go outside more often.

okay then. a foreign fighter jet broke into US airspace and dive bombed the pentagon. yay. nice theory.

Ok, so you think it was a terrorist attack right? Where did the plane go? Why was the hole in the wall so small compared to the giant plane? Doesnt the Pentagon have missles that protect its air space? How come the plane wasnt shot down before impact? Answer these questions and maybe Ill believe you.

Against my better judgement, I'll enter this thread briefly...

A plane heading into a building isn't all that big. Looking at it head-on, it is basically a skinny cylinder. The tail and wings are made of aluminum, and are pretty skinny, too, when viewed head on.

The entire plane body is made of aluminum. Pretty soft and malleable. Slamming into a concrete structure near cruising speed would SHRED the thing, for the most part. That, and the heat from the fireball would work to not leave a huge plane fuselage lying about. There are photos that show some plane wreckage, if you look about for them.

It's just that the plane did NOT try to crash-land safely in grass (where you see wreckage in news footage). It hit head-on into a large concrete structure.

ok.

into the building. See the hole? It crashed into the building.

pay close attention to photo 13.

Why was the hole in the wall so small compared to the giant plane?

read this:

Army General

Doesnt the Pentagon have missles that protect its air space?

http://www.fas.org/news/usa/2001/usa-010710.htm

missle test facilities, yes. On site, no.

come the plane wasnt shot down before impact?

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2001/09/11/...ain310721.shtml

because it was a hyjacked US airliner.

happy?

Actually, NO, Im not happy.

In all those pictures there is only one picture with a little piece of metal that doesnt have to come from the plane.

About the hole. If you look at it, it looks like the nose of the plane got into the building and it stopped at the wings. How come the wings didnt do any damage to the buildings and where are they? Aliens took them? Where is the rest of the body? BTW I didnt read that page because its too long, care to sum it up?

About the plane being hit before impact. Well I dont believe that either. Since the US government will do just about anything in the world to protect their President I dont understand why they just let a plane that big crash into a building where their whole government people work.. might be even the most important building for the government. But then again, maybe there was no plane?

One more thing. How come there is no video of the crash (unless I didnt see it..). I mean, the Pentagon must have a big number of cameras outside.

Anyone who thinks the twin towers could not fall after being hit by two planes is obviously ill informed about how buildings work.

I have studied structural engineering at university and have as a case study, covered the twin towers collapse in great deal.

Put simply, anyone who knows ANYTHING about steel frame structures knows how poor they perform in fire compared to a reinforced or in-situ concrete frame. An ordinary warehouse which is constructed from a steel frame which has been in a fire will not melt, but become plastic and thus not capable of holding any load.

The floors of the WTC were constructed using a techinque called truss flooring. Experiments show that even if one of these trusses is not adequately protected, then the whole floor will fail.

Once one floor has failed, the effect of "progressive strucutural collapse" will take place which basically means that once one floor has fallen onto the one below, the weight of it is too much for it to carry and thus it too collapses. Therefore resulting in the collaspe of the building as a whole.

I know for a fact that the WTC would collapse from the hit of those planes alone. What i am less sure of it the fact the the us government knew nothing about it before it happened.

got damnit, read the posts, you don't seem to be reading the posts, if you are, you need to go to school. he says, that when floor trusses fail, and when that floor fails and falls on top of the floor below, it's inevitable that it won't stop falling, cuz of the weight and momentum of the floors above it. This information is obvious information. I don't disagree with this. I disagree with wat caused the floors to fail in the first place. Learn to read plague, really learn how to read.

a bit more info about why the floors would fail:

the trusses of the floor structure were sprayed with a fire protective coat of cement based product which would shield it in the event of a fire, and should ensure that the floor maintains its fire integrity rating (ie it will last a certain amount of time before failing).

as important as it is that it is applied in the first place, is the fact that it has to be well maintained throughout it's life. maintenance photographs of the floor trusses in the world trade centre show that the floor was not well maintained and gaps were present in the fire protective coating.

once heat has reached this truss, it would fail, causing the whole floor to fail and trigger what i described in my last post.

some of you may THINK it may not have been enough for it to fall, but let's be honest, you don't have a clue what you are talking about and are only reading second hand sources from people who know equally as little as you know yourself. i however KNOW FOR A FACT that the planes impact would cause the towers to fall.

please don't try and refute evidence when you have no idea what on earth you are talking about :argh:

Why dont YOU go back and read YOUR posts and YOUR sources?

You said that one floor could support more than one floors..

You dont have any evidence either. All you gave here is some articles that anyone could have written. This guy (unless he is lying and I dont think he is cause theres no reason) apparently knows a whole lot more than you do.

is the "pretender' under one of us ? ( )

o well..

i believe the usa goverment or CIA knows more than we will ever know.

I am still wondering why the biggest chief did stop with his work, i doubt its "personal" reasons.

What is the truth ?

the WINNER writes ALWAYS the truth, and COULD be happend something else. ( or it is an opinion of the most people)

even with facts, you can make your own opinion)

The truth is still an OPINION.

just like sience, or religion.

if you agree its true, if you don't its false.

watever man, you're the stupidest person ever, and that other guy, he knows nothing, he's just doing what im doing, but pretending that he has experience. anyways, believe what you want, i don't care no more.

Oh yeah, Im stupid.. OK.

Im not the person that says something and then 5 pages later says the exacts opposite.

How do you know he knows nothing? YOU are the one who knows nothing. You base whatever you believe on websites that little 5 year olds could have written.

    • Exactly, this is just the beginning. I hope that by that time, our inept politicians devise something like a Universal Basic Income, because unemployment and poverty rates will skyrocket otherwise. And believe me, robots that perform physical work aren't a matter of IF, but WHEN. No career is truly safe from AI/robots, it's just a matter of time.

Subtitle Edit 5.0.0 changelog: Subtitle Edit 5 is a major new release and a big step for the project. For the first time, Subtitle Edit runs natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux from a single, modern, cross-platform codebase. The builds are self-contained, so no separate .NET installation is required, and on macOS and Linux the needed media components (mpv/ffmpeg) are bundled in. Please read before upgrading: Subtitle Edit 5 is a new application, not just an update of Subtitle Edit 4. It has been rebuilt from the ground up to be cross-platform, so: It is not 100% the same app. The look, layout, and some workflows have changed. Some things are in different places, and a few behave differently than in SE4. Not every SE4 feature exists in SE5 yet. SE5 covers all the core editing, conversion, sync, video playback, OCR, and online services, but some of the more specialized SE4 tools are not available yet. Features will continue to be added. If you rely on a specific SE4 feature that is missing, please keep SE4 installed alongside SE5. The easiest way to run both side by side is to use the Portable versions of SE4 and SE5, which keep their settings separate and do not interfere with each other. Which version should I use? Subtitle Edit 5: recommended for most users on Windows 10 (22H2) or newer, macOS 12+, and Linux. Subtitle Edit 4: please continue to use SE4 if you are on an older Windows version (Windows 7/8), or on older / slower computers where SE5 may not run well. SE4 remains available and is the right choice in those cases. To run SE4 and SE5 at the same time, use the Portable versions - you can try SE5 while keeping SE4 as a fallback. • Google Pixel 11 series: Here's what to expect by Hamid Ganji Google Pixel 10 series In recent years, Google has successfully turned its Pixel devices into worthy contenders in the smartphone market. The search giant is now preparing to launch the Pixel 11 series in just a few months, and many Pixel fans are likely wondering what Google has in store for them this year. The next lineup of Google smartphones includes four devices: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. This year, we don’t expect Google to bring revolutionary upgrades to its handsets, and the Pixel 11 series is likely to receive modest hardware improvements alongside a slew of AI-powered features. Here are the rumored specifications of the Google Pixel 11 series ahead of its official debut: When will the new Pixel phones be unveiled? The last two generations of Google Pixel phones (Pixel 9 series and Pixel 10 series) were launched in August, unlike the previous three generations that debuted in October. With that in mind, we expect Google to unveil the Pixel 11 series sometime in August 2026. The exact launch date has yet to be confirmed. Google Pixel 11 CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines How much will the Pixel 11 series cost? Predicting the final price of upcoming smartphones has become increasingly difficult. As you may know, RAM and memory prices are rising sharply, leading to significant increases in the cost of consumer electronics. Recently, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that price increases for some future Apple products are unavoidable, suggesting that the iPhone 18 series could become more expensive. Google has remained tight-lipped about any potential price increases for the Pixel 11 series. If the company manages to maintain last year’s pricing structure, here’s what the lineup could cost: Pixel 11: $799 Pixel 11 Pro: $999 Pixel 11 Pro XL: $1,199 Pixel 11 Pro Fold: $1,799 Given current market conditions, it may be difficult for Google to avoid raising prices unless it adopts cost-saving measures, such as equipping the base model with 8GB of RAM. Google Pixel 11 series anticipated specs: We expect the Google Pixel 11 series to debut with a new Tensor G6 processor as well as an upgraded camera system. The overall design, however, is expected to remain largely unchanged across the lineup. Specifications Pixel 11 Pixel 11 Pro Pixel 11 Pro XL Pixel 11 Pro Fold Display 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED / 120Hz refresh rate / up to 3100 nits of brightness 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3600 nits of brightness 6.8-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3600 nits of brightness 8-inch inner screen and 6.4-inch outer display, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3600 nits of brightness RAM & Processor Tensor G6 / 8-12GB of RAM Tensor G6 / 12-16GB of RAM Tensor G6 / 12-16GB of RAM Tensor G6 / 16GB of RAM Storage options 128GB or 256GB 256GB, 512GB, 1TB 256GB, 512GB, 1TB 256GB, 512GB, 1TB Camera 50MP main sensor, 13MP ultra-wide, 10.8MP 5x telephoto, 10.5MP front camera 50MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide, 48MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, 42MP selfie camera 50MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide, 48MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, 42MP selfie camera 50MP main camera, 10.5MP ultra-wide camera, 10.8MP telephoto camera, 10MP front camera, 10MP inner camera Battery 4,840 mAh 4,707 mAh 5,000 mAh 4,658 mAh Software Android 17 Android 17 Android 17 Android 17 The Pixel 11 series won’t be a major departure from its predecessor, with Google instead focusing on subtle improvements and AI additions such as Gemini Intelligence. However, a patent filed by Google suggests the company is working on a removable battery for its smartphones, and we could see this feature make its way to the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Given that nearly all smartphones today lack removable batteries, such a feature would be a welcome addition to future Pixel devices. That said, it may not arrive with this year’s lineup after all, and the final decision is yet to be made by Google. The Pixel 11 series could also face an uphill battle in the market. In the Android segment, Samsung is performing well with the Galaxy S26 series, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup is also expected to launch next month. On the other hand, Apple is preparing to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September alongside its first foldable iPhone.
