0 aka JAWheat411
There has been recent discussions on the dev list regarding possibly forking the project, due to some unhappy contributors. Compromises have been proposed to try to keep this from happening, but this event really overshadows that discussion for now.It will most definitely go on, but who will lead the 'definitive' branch is anyone's guess. I wouldn't worry about that too much. Since the project is open source. As long as there are people who want the project to continue it will. Long live open source. 0 KlyX
I was shocked about the message, of stefans accident. But in the developpers list Sebastian 'Seppel' Biallas wrote, that he would continue PearPC. He just need a but of time to realize what happened. And there is the whole developping network who stands beside him. 0 mgleason007
Anyone get any of the recent builds to work? They don't complain about the "key_compose" entry in the config file now, but whenever I try to boot it something weird happens. It will get to the part where it would normally show the blue screen (past the grey screen with the "spinning circle" or whatever) and then the window gets really small, about 4 pixels high and I would guess 100 pixels long. I can't resize it and whenever I place my mouse over it I get the "busy" cursor. Anyone else get this? 0 ATLien_0
i might have tiger by tommorow. Here is what i am wondering, will tiger run slow on pear pc. Like Longhorn it requires more speed. AND from what i have read it is a 64 bit os, but may run 32 bit. I just want to know if there is a speed difference between 10.4 and 10.3 in pearpc. ANY News on Softpear yet???????
