While I did not read every page I skimmed through the last 200 or so. After consideration I decided to sign up. I feel like an idiot asking for help on this but I'm unsure where else to turn.

For starters here's a screenshot of what I would, basically, like to see. However there are two things I would like to be able to change. The first problem is more of an annoyance and I'm not sure it's even possible to fix. It if isn't, well, I'll get over it. :)

So, looking at the screenshot you will see a small red line. Right above it is where the menu and other various toolbars might be. I've removed all of the toolbars but am left with a sort of empty box where the toolbars would go. Is there a way to remove this empty box?

Now I have another screenshot. This is, again, basically, how I would like to see the playlist.

This isn't exactly what I had in mind, but I think you get the idea. How would I remove the artist/date/album info from occurring for each track? Then, how would I combine the info for these three items? I would like to have the artist displayed on the line of the first track of the album. On the line of the second track of the album I would like to have the album displayed and indented with the date in brackets. From there I believe I can handle the rest and set everything how I'd like.

I sincerely apologize if this has (and I'm quite sure it has) been asked before, I searched through this massive thread as much as I could. Perhaps I wasn't looking in right direction.

Thanks for reading.

here is my new foobar.. thanks to spex for the awesome config.

<snip>

By the way, you see those two pixels in the top trackinfo, to the right and left, those can be removed if you delete the '// curved edges' section in the code (Y)

I like the blue :)

To others, about my config

Row height should be 18, group height should be 2. Forgot to mention...

Any suggestions? (exluding fonts) Cause I'm limited to unicode fonts, I thnk I might make an if statement later on that can change the font automatically depending on language, if thats the case then I could use a different one :p

Hi, ive been using foobar for years but its only recently that ive started to customize it im wondering,

iOsiris how did you get the music library and also the artist list on the right handside of your fullmode? is it some plugin? is your playlist the single column UI or the normal one?

and a question for everyone, how can i start foobar with a blank playlist all the time instead of it remembering the last playlist used before exit.

thanks! :)

Does someone want to un 7z zip it, and rar it back up, cause I don't feel like installing another crappy program to get one file.

Please and thanks.

then do not use the file you want to open. if you use crappy program (like WinZip - which is totaly crap) then it's your problem, use some normal archivers man.

http://portableapps.com - here you will fin 7zip portable version (no need to install anything)

what components were used to get foobar2000 to look like this, i can't figure it out, i have been away from foobar2000 developments for some time and obviuosly missed a lot...

Hey! It's my foobar!

Why don't you ask in the hydrogenaudio forum?

I use a trackinfo_mod at top and bottom, and a sinlge_column_playlist.

The tabs are just images using the $button function in the trackinfo_mod.

I use tabs_mod for tabs, cause with this component you can hide the headers.

Regards.

hey, i'm totally new to this foobar editting thing.. i've been reading posts posted here and in hydrogenaudio forums, but i'm still unable to clearly understand how to go about editting it.

this is the best that i can do for now. but i'm just wondering how to be able to customize it such that it'd look like Ceri's foobar. :)

    • Ahh, I didn't know that. It makes sense. I was thinking I would be fine with 50 hours, but 100 is close enough that I wouldn't feel like I am paying for more than I am using. I might check it out sometime.
    • Google's next-gen Tensor AI chips might be produced by Samsung, report says by Hamid Ganji Image via Google Google’s Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) is produced in collaboration with companies such as Broadcom and TSMC, but a recent report suggests that the search giant is in talks with Samsung to hand over part of the production to the Korean tech company. According to a report by The Information, citing people familiar with the matter, Google has begun talks with Samsung about using its chip manufacturing capacity for the next generation of Tensor AI chips. Google’s upcoming TPUs are reportedly codenamed “Icefish” and will be produced using Samsung's 2-nanometer process technology. Meanwhile, Samsung is expected to produce only a portion of the next-generation Tensor chips, with most of the production remaining at TSMC. The Information says the new Tensor chips are currently in the design stage and are scheduled to enter mass production in 2028. TSMC is generally considered one of the most reliable chip manufacturing partners and is trusted by tech giants such as Apple and Google. However, the growing demand for TSMC’s AI chips, combined with the company’s focus on meeting demand from AI data centers, has reportedly prompted Google to seek additional manufacturing partners for its next-generation TPUs. Besides Samsung and TSMC, Intel could also be assigned part of the production. The Information reported this week is that Google has begun talks with Intel to produce up to three million TPUs in 2028. However, this is not the first time Google has partnered with Samsung on chip production, as Samsung has previously manufactured Tensor chips for Pixel smartphones. Google’s Tensor Processing Unit is used in cloud data centers and competes with NVIDIA’s chips, which currently dominate the market. By relying on in-house chips, Google can not only reduce its dependence on third-party providers but also create new revenue opportunities. The company has already supplied its TPUs to the AI firm Anthropic.
    • Reminder that the Premium and Ultimate plans already come with a 100 hour per month limit, which you then have to pay more to increase in 15 hour blocks.
    • It does invite Linux because MS should have been improving their products all along these years instead chose to ignore the users now this year they’re making all of these improvements to their products where as Linux doesn’t have this kind of problems in fact it has gotten so good I can even play Windows games in Steam that I no longer ever needed Windows to carry on with my life, unlike you still use Windows and chose to try beat down down those who don't use Windows because they love their LG TV. (Surprisingly I actually own a 55” LED LG TV and it has been going strong for almost 14 years, longer than any Sony TV”)
    • As much as I love owning my own hardware, it's hard to argue with the value. I'm not a huge gamer, I'd actually be interested in a cheaper plan with limited monthly hours, or even a pay-by-the-hour plan.
