You're a post ######. Stick your repeat posts up your arse, And to show we're childish, you do NOT see us defacing your flag. That's a term of disrespect and I personally think you need your ass kicking. ******."
@.Atlantis: You're an idiot. First, there are two threads with same subject. On both threads, people used the same excuses and I replyed using the same opinion. Second, I didn't "defacing" your flag. That picture is from a signature made by someone else here in neowin. I simply put the "X" on the word "Not". It's a joke and not an insult. Everybody can see that (except a stupid and a brain dead kid like you).
Sad to see England robbed of the win by the referee (that 2-1 goal WAS in, and not a foul). I bet he can become a honorary portuguese citizen anytime, and god knows how many Euro's richer he is today, by disallowing that goal. England won the game 2-1. Sure, they defended too much, but that  still doesn't change the fact that they were ROBBED of a win. So no, sorry, I just can't congratulate Portugal. You dive too much.

@Frankenchrist: Again with the "diving" story? <g> You seem like a broken record. Always saying the same thing. Whatever. The referee was right to disallow Sol Campbell's header. Terry clearly put his arm across the goalie to impede him and the rules state that the goalkeeper cannot be touched inside the box. You can't prevent the goalkeeper from jumping. Rules are rules.

It's always the same story, same old excuses. Blame the ref, the penalty spot, Portugal had an extra day to prepare, etc. It's always the same with english supporters. What a bad loosers! No elses whines so much! Once again, everything conspired against England... LOL!

England was simply beaten by a better team. Portugal made a great match. You sucked on penalties. We didn't. Period. Better luck next time.

Enough.

I doubt Greece can win but who knows, i just really liked the final to be Portugal - France, that would be great!

Yes, we have some scores to settle with them...

Hey, did you noticed that we beated the countries that have invaded us in the past?

Spain, England...

you always have to pick on something... stop this because it's getting old.

Rui Costa is very far from being a god these days.

France - Greece in 2 hours

Pick on something? I'm not picking on anything, just pointing out that England far from sucked considering they lost by 1 goal in sudden death.

Oh, and you'll be delighted to know that Urs has been universally panned by Referees the world over including those still reffing at Euro 2004. They just ran a story on ITV News

Those pictures definitely show that it was disallowed. The english player pulling and holding on to the goalkeeper like that.

The ref in the Czech v Holland game... now he was biased towards the Czechs. He gave out a yellow card for almost no reason when tougher fouls had been commited just so the yellow would turn to red. Not to mention the amount of holding taking place when the Czechs were literally holding down the Dutch when they entered their penalty box w/o any penalty given.

hose pictures definitely show that it was disallowed. The english player pulling and holding on to the goalkeeper like that.

All the critics and football commentators would disagree and they know slightly more about the rules that you, a random person on a forum.

Plus, as I've said before, the linesman cleared it as an OK goal, just the ref disapproved!

    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
