I wish i really had the time to give this game some more attention.... i started my 10 day trial on thursday and ive managed to jump on it twice for 45 minutes :(

it ends on sunday i think and i'm wondering if it's worth paying the subscription for the little amount of time i'm going to get to play on it.

crazy stuff people booking days off work to play it haha.

Looks like we have a date: November 13.

O ya, means its time to start prepping for the release. Start saving up Flasks of Relentless assualt, figure out how to get enchanting to 450 as quick as possible stock up on some BC mats to help me gain 10-20 points easily. Continue to pray so I can get on beta and learn a leveling path to quickly get me up there. Start picking out tank gear (some of my current gear/gear from BT will easily last me until Naxx/badges) to grab on the way to 80, and save up massive amount of gold.

BtW Adam/Eve did ya'll have OT get SR for Mother? I know myself and the other tanks will alternate as MT/OT for the fight, but I was wondering if I'll be OTing it, how much SR gear I need if any.

You could always use the game cards or cancel/resubscribe when you feel like playing. :)

I had the last 2 weeks of November booked off anyway: 1 week to be lazy around my house and toss up Christmas Lights etc, then I'm taking off to Mexico for a week. By the time I'm back most of my guild should be ready for Naxx?again.

Our tanks don't wear any. I think when we were learning they'd toss on the neck+cape and then decided it wasn't worth it.

Got a beta invite and just downloaded all the patches last night. Moving a couple 70s to Northrend if anyone is interested in running something sometime.

70 hunter

70 priest healer

70 paladin tank

70 mage

Live realms, i've been on Lothar since release. Anyone else play there?

Then I might just get the cape made up. I haven't been able to get a group to kill Fathom Lord so I can't talk to that guy to finish the quest to get the neck. But I really don't think I'll any and if I or the other two tanks get Demonic Energy, we should be able to be healed through.

Demonic energy isn't really a concern: your lash tanks have forever to be healed and your main tank is being spammed so neither should really hurt you. The real concern is idiots getting ported and running through the tanks and the solution to that isn't to make your tanks wear SR.

I started a Shammy character. So far it has been nice playing it. Hit level 21 few moments ago. Though I have one question. I am a Enhancement Shaman. What kind of gear should I be wearing in the future (intellect/stamina/strength)? Here is my current one (could be few minutes/hours outdated):

WoW Armory

I can't check your armory as I'm at work, but I can offer some advice for an enhancement shaman.

I went from 1-64 as enhancement, and then switched to elemental because enhance had major threat issues and shaman (still have) no CC so I was pretty undesireable for 5 man instances. This was around 2.1 or so. Since then enhancement threat has been reduced a little and a couple talent changes have made the spec a bit more desireable for PvE grouping. I have switched back to enhancement as I like it more than elemental, but my gear isn't that great as my shaman is an alt character and WotLK will regear him anyways. Level 80 will give shamans a limited CC ability (Hex), but the cooldown is 15 seconds longer than the max ability duration... so I'm not sure how great it's really going to be. But at least it's something.

As far as gear, you'll be going for STR, ATP (1 STR = 2 ATP), and Crit. For the higher levels you'll want to add hit since dual wield has such an awful miss chance, but you won't need as much as a rogue. And STA and INT to taste, really.

You want the slowest possible 1H weapons. And you'll want to use windfury on both weapons. Ideally you'd want your swing timer above 3.0 because windfury has a hidden 3 second cooldown, but there are not any viable 1H weapons that slow. So you'll be aiming to keep your swing timer above 1.5 seconds with Flurry (and other constant haste effects) active. This equals a base weapon speed of 2.0 or 2.1, I don't remember. But the slower the better.

I found the first 30 levels on my shaman the worst. You don't have a lot of the better abilities until that point. Windfury and Astrall Recall come to mind. Since then I've been pretty happy with him. You can look him up if you want. Look for Onikk on Malygos.

He means unless your covered head-to-to in top end raid gear you'll replace everything you have before November 30th.

Yup, most T6 stuff will last until Naxx/Badge gear upgrades, anything lower should be replaced by blues/heroics. Already planning a tanking set for my warrior once I hit 80 and some pieces that I have will work, and hopefully we will be killing bosses that do drop what I could use.

And thanks Evn, I'll point that out and see what happens. If were having OT deaths due to shadow damage that is idiotic damage I'll be sure to make some otherwise I'll keep my gold.

Anyone want a Scroll of Resurrection?

If you haven't played WoW for at least 90 days and are planning to get back into it, let me know so I can cast a Scroll Of Resurrection on your account so you can get free 10 days and I get a month after you pay for at least a month worth on your account.

Resident One Post Wonder

Not going to happen, not to you.

I think he means that probably everyone that's posted in this thread could have already been asked for a Scroll. ;)

I don't, lol.

He's clearly pointing out people won't trust me or something?

Ah, I don't want to argue about it though.

So after a few nights of working on my UI it's finally in good enough shape to show off. I'm sure there are a few things here and there I'll change, but this is pretty much going to be the end result:

If anybody wants any specifics, let me know :)

Everything is an Ace addon except QuestHelper and SmartBuff because there are (in my opinion) no good replacements for those that are Ace addons.

Duder. Any luck of packaging up that addon? Or at least, listing the addons used? It just looks really awesome.

I don't, lol.

No, why would a Neowin member go to a first time poster who cleary only posted to try to get free 30 days? If they wanted to have there account re-opened, they'd most likely ask a member who frequently post in-here rather than a person who posted to only get a free 30 days, that's what I meant by it, and I'd had hope you would realize that.

On another note, Bloodboil sucks to tank.

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Sonic Racing, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games store brought along two games from wildly different genres this week for PC gamers to claim. Robobeat is a rhythm-based action game that lets you become a bounty hunter that can wall run, slide, and bunny hop around his opponents. All you have to do is stick to the beat for the built-in or custom songs. Next, Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station. It uses tabletop RPG-inspired elements like dice rolls and timers to change up how players approach its activities, factions, and storylines. The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways end on June 25. On the same day, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will become the next freebies. The bundle space expanded with two more collections from Humble this week too. The June 2unes bundle is up first, carrying plenty of rhythm games. This carries Kill the Music and Rhythm Witch in the $5 starting tier, followed by Trombone Champ, Spin Rhythm XD, and Thumper in the $7 tier. Paying at least $12 gets you the complete bundle, which adds on Kalpa: Cosmic Symphony, Everhood 2, NOISZ, and Sixtar Gate: StarTrail. The next bundle is for virtual reality fans. This carries Among Us 3D: VR and Zero Caliber VR for $10. The next tier brings in Tactical Assault VR, Ancient Dungeon, and Arizona Sunshine Remake for $15. VTOL VR, Zero Caliber 2 Remastered, Metro Awakening, and Thief VR land to finish things off for $18. Free Events It's a big week for free event fans, as Valve kicked off another one of its Next Fest events. This one carries thousands of gameplay slices from upcoming indie games The promotion is set to run until June 22. Standard free events are also ongoing this weekend. This includes the sci-fi grand strategy experience Stellaris from Paradox and the hit SEGA management game Two Point Museum. Asymmetric multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight and the hit mech shooter MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries are also free-to-play over the weekend.
