Yes.

The trial is the full game, it's only limited to what you can do with the game in 10 days.

So, no extra downloading if you purchase more time after your trial.

Unless of course you buy the expansions..but, yeah.

So after the 10 day trial I'm not locked out and forced to buy a retail copy of the game, I can just continue playing using the trial download with a subscription?

I'm pretty indifferent about server/class. Way before Touchy I had a dwarf priest but otherwise I've never really played alliance. I think most of neowin plays horde but Im not sure if that means they'd rather try something new or stick with what they know. I'd probably re-roll with recruit-a-friend because you can do 0-60 in a weekend (22 hours is the best I've seen) and I don't think it's fair to ask people to transfer a main or high level alt to some server they don't know anybody on.

If we're re-rolling I'd say do it on a PVE server so we can quest without getting ganked and then transfer to PvP if we actually care about that later.

If we could get 8 people, 1 of each class (minus two) we could do all of the current raid content and I suspect we could pick up a couple other's as we went along. You can 3 or 4 man all dungeons in the game even with horrible gear so having 2 groups of 4 would mean never having to pug for those quests.

Kind of you still need to pay for the actual game, you cant just throw a gametime card at it, but you dont have to buy the cds from a shop you can pay for the digital download version (cds are better imo and probably cheaper)

I am completely open to whatever we decide would be best.

If you'd like, Evn, I'd be willing to do the recruit-a-friend with you.

Let me know! :D

Oh, not sure if the (?) means you didn't know our classes, or whatever.

Like I said, Have an 80 BE Hunter.

I was just curious about patch 3.1 I could have sworn I read that Blizz is putting level 70 season 2 gear vendors back into the game, but I cannot find that on any of the patch notes, can anyone help with information? Please do not link to current patch notes etc cuz we all know those dont go over everything being changed etc and I have already looked over them.

I'm debating between another warrior or hunter/lock. I dunno.

Evn if you want a partner to RAF. I'll be game to leve more than a few toons to 60 in the 3 months to get a Zheva mount. Dunno if I can do that with my current account or if we would have to make an completly new one, at which point I wouldn't want to transfer a bunch of toons from one account to another. 1-70 is the worst grind for me so being able to knock out 60 of that in less than a day would be totally sexy.

Where abouts can I get the digital download version? I've looked on the Blizzard store and all you can do is order the CD version on there. Could you link me to the digital download page?

I've played some of the trial and decided I'd like the full version, what's the quickest and easiest way for me to pay for it, without having to go to the store to get the disc?

They should send you an offer to purchase it before the trial expires. You can download the client again by logging into Account Management. There is also a "Direct Online Upgrade" button on the WoW Battle Chest in the Blizzard store.

Ah, thanks. However, is there any way to purchase it before the trial expires? There's some things I can't do with the trial. Also do I get to keep my character?

Edit: Thanks I'll take a look!

2nd Edit: Can't see that direct online upgrade thing. Is that just for Americans?

Your characters will stay til the end of eternity. It will convert your trial account to the paid one. :)

For what it's worth, I remember hearing the same thing but also don't have a source.

That was it - I wasn't sure what people wanted to play.

A guild with 5 death knights 3 warlocks, and 2 rogues isn't going to get very far.

There is also a "Direct Online Upgrade" button on the WoW Battle Chest in the Blizzard store.

Go to worldofwarcraft.com, click account and then log in with your name / password.

On the right side you should see 'promotions' where you can upgrade your account on line. If you purchase expansions (ie: so you can be a blood elf or draenai) you can purchase the upgrades the same way.

You can buy it directly from blizz these days I think. Failing that buy a CD key online.

Whenever I log into my account it says it's not merged with a Battle.net account, so I log into Battle.net and it tells me merging isn't available in my region yet.

This is turning out to be alot harder than it should be. I just wanna pay for the darn game!!

Just ignore the WoW merge notice for now. It's optional even where it's supported.

I think there are problems with the account management page at the moment, might be worth trying again a bit later.

American accounts can be bought/upgraded online pretty easily but I'm not sure we have the ability with EU accounts yet. I know you can buy a digital download of Wrath of the Lich King but not sure about WoW and TBC.

Not to sound overly redundant, I'll take the least liked class/race, just to get this off the ground and running.

Where did you buy it?

Is it legal is what I mean.

I'm pretty sure you can only buy CD Keys via Retail Box..?

offgamers.com

Totally legal.

Starting to rage now. I have a legally purchased CD Key, I just want to enter it and start playing, instead I just get streams of messages saying my account isn't merged (that's the only message, I cannot do anything with my account without merging my account, which I'm not allowed to do).

GRR.

Edit: Sorted it, just had to create a new account.

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
