They were? I remember playing for 3 days straight to hit 80 in the hopes of a realm first Feat of Strength and the server didn't crash once.

You got lucky, then. Many people had to deal with crashing instance servers, getting lost on the way to battlegroup servers, mounts and pets disappearing, rolling restarts that lasted for 5 hours... :)

Didn't hear a single thing about that anywhere from anyone. Didn't crash once. Hell only logged out twice to sleep.

Well, for what it's worth, my friend just told me the same thing. I wasn't playing at the time, so I don't know.

I recall BC having some issues, but WoTLK was a great launch and everything went smooth as a baby's bottom.

Friend called, my server and it seems alot are up also. Updating addons wasn't to bad, had to install the Curse client, which wasn't too bad, I'll see how it goes.

Maybe just lucky. 3.02 and WotLK launch (3.0.3) were BAD on my 3 realms.. Down and buggy as s$*t for a good week or so. :(

Well I got to play a good few hours, but now my server is acting up.

Good news is the DK changes have seemed to boost my DPS. I'm using the 0/10/61 build I mentioned earlier, and damn, I'm doing very well. 3200 DPS on average, compared to 2800 pre-patch on the 17/0/54 build.

Andrew-DB why does your Gnome look like the undead? :p

Take it being a Death Knight causes that?

I haven't played WoW in like 5 or 6 months.

Wish you could start all classes at like 55. I currently have a Hunter at 68 and a Mage at 50 something... Dunno whether to re-roll or carry one of them on.

Hows the mage been since WotLK? And how is pre-70 leveling, even faster now?

So...looking at mmo-champion a few guilds have already started beating the hard mode encounters.

The patch has been out for less than a day now.

Blizz said the hard modes would keep raiders entertained for awhile. By a while do they mean 1 week?

Ulduar is a joke, only ever so slightly harder than Naxx.

Can I get some opinions on this build for my feral druid, it's going to be a mix between PvE and PvP ( Haven't decided what my end-game goal is, just leveling my druid :) )

Why have a mix / hybrid spec when you can just dual spec and go "all out" talent wise for each of the two you are considering.

Because I just started playing again after a 4 month break and I sold my other account, I barely have 100g, let alone 1000g for dual speccing. Only level 50 so far.

I come to do my best for the Gnomes of the world.

I serve the Alliance .. proudly.

Gnome? Do you honestly like how your character looks? If only your Death Knight was a tauren, rawr! :)

How are you finding your druid so far then? I stopped playing just after WoTLKs launch, but druid was definitely my favourite class. I miss the good old days of serious survivability in arena as resto. :( I'd probably still be playing it if I had rolled Tauren instead of female Night Elf.

Yeah, that always puzzles me how people can play gnomes, they are so ugly and their animations are horrible. You are going to spend countless of minutes, hours, days perhaps even months on it, why not have a cool looking character :p Same goes for Female Taurens ... :|

I'm still debating whether or not to renew my account and level a Tauren Druid or an Undead, but I don't think it would be a good move considering I'm nearing the end of college and I have a lot of work to do. :( I found I got easily bored towards the end, everything becomes so repetitive, there's nothing better than levelling with a group of friends though.

Yeah, bad idea to start playing WoW if you know you can't dedicate a decent amount of time. Only reason why I'm currently leveling my Tauren Druid is because I'm on an almost 2 month vacation, only two weeks in so far - Many people would probably have better things to do with all this free time, I don't, I just play WoW :p

I started on a server with a few friends who both have level 80's and are leveling alts that are about to hit Northend, I'm just leveling all by my lonesome, just hit level 50 tonight. So apart from the occasional instance / zone boost, it's extremely lonely - Only thing that keeps me going is all the fun we're going to be having at 70-80. (Y)

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
