I know I am late as hell to this epically long thread, but I had to post... a long time ago, 2 months after WoW launched, I made a druid... yes, before the refresh, when they just sucked period. I leveled them up, through the refresh and was a great healer in Vanilla WoW... MC, Strat, Scholo, whatever, etc. I was there when the dark portal opened, and got my tabard of heroism... but I got bored, and worked on college stuff, so I missed 90% of BC; even missing the wonderful feral buff. I drunkly deleted my original druid, and decided to remake the toon with same name... and 14 days play time later (I am lazy). I leveled 80 today, and at the same time, got World Explorer (I kitty bombed a rare today). I have to say, after completing my first heroic (with crap gear) I am so totally in love with this game again... the experience re-leveling up was worth the mistake. And despite this long nearly pointless post, I just want to say, I love WoW again.

Nice to hear a positive experience with someone rekindling their love for WoW.

I have one question about the expansion. If buy it, will I get 30 days playing time? I'm asking because I'm thinking of coming back to WoW (yeah, I miss the game. I even dreamed how I am playing the game, twice this week :blush: ), and my account is put on hold (canceled). So if I buy WotLK, will I get 30 days, or will I need to pay again?

Expansion packs do not come with any gametime in the UK so I would imagine its the same everywhere else in the world.

I sold it for 1,700 gold.

part of me wants to return, but the other part is bored of doing nothing but dailies from not being able to find raid/instance groups (as guilds have usally had consistent tanks for years, or dont think im geard enough)

I see guilds all the time shouting on my server looking for generally tanks, and heals...

are they looking for tanks for raids/guild runs, or are they PUG 5/Man, i have done PUG runs all the time, kind of not hard for that, but anything Raiding Wise, and they are filled

So, does neowin have a guild on a server yet? Id love to actually roll a holy priest and level her as a healer. Ive got a lbl 80 dk with mostly epics from naxx and 25 man naxx, and a 78 mage, but I think the change would be good trying a healer.

Get geared up then? You can pug naxx easily. Then make a decent app and guilds might be interested. Ulduar is going to cause burnout on healers/tanks so they most likely will have their eye out for more.

other then enchants there is very little left, from what iv experienced, people are still in the mindset that DK's cant tank ( exception of the PUG's iv tanked for, the healers love me as they can DPS ) and Raids want the comfortability of more then 22K+ HP, grabed Mexinna in naxx after tank died, and was doing fine even though people were " whos tanking , whos Tanking " once i got healing it was good, but because i was in dps gear (they didnt want me tanking because of my hp ) they stopped healing

So, I had a blast this weekend in Ulduar. Feral druid DPS is pretty amazing. Got #1 dmg on the Ignis fight (Clearly, the screenshot was not taken in the Ignis room). Also got two new pieces of gear that bring me up to 13.65% base armor pen :)

cheers, I wanna sneak a look at Dynamik as I have recently gone Arms myself.

Edit - While checking him out on the armory i noticed he doesn't have 2/2 Trauma which to me in an Arms spec seems like an obviouse choice. Thus making me want to see the WWS even more seeing as he is still pulling 4.5k

Enjoy it while it lasts, it won't be long before you either get a nerf or everyone else gets a buff. Blizzard said hybrids shouldn't be topping DPS. Their idea of hybrid DPS was to be 5% behind the pure classes. Which simply isn't happening atm.

I'm sure the pure classes will scale better when they get there weapon upgrades. As of right now, I'm pretty sure I'm right where they want druid's to be.
