Just to save the interested some time:

Many people have noticed a change in the Children's Week achievement Daily Chores. The achievement no longer requires you to do the same daily quest five days in a row with your orphan out, but instead requires you to do a total of any five daily quests with your orphan out.

I did Childrens week and finished off Noblegarden today. Despite being feared of being stuck in the bg's all day, "School of hard knocks" actually isnt that hard.

I got the AB/AV one. Dreading WSG one the most. EoTS shouldn't be to hard. Thinking I might a day or two before going for those, in the hopes the zerg for them had died down.

School of hard knocks sucks. Played about 15 WSG games so far... Every time Alliance is playing serious and then I can never click flag fast enough when we do happen to kill the runner... God damn stupid ****.

Got mine. First WSG I enter'd it was horde running with flag for 3rd cap. Second one, I caught the flag guy (a lowly lock with no healer) near the house with berserker (which I snag'd). Hit Shield Block and enjoyed a 10k Shield Slam crit, a 5k Revenge crit which proc'd Shield'n'Board which gave me another 7k Shield Slam crit. Dead lock and I was all alone to return the flag. :)

Ran a quick H UP run to snag Patorn Madslane and my 20th title.

I got mine on the first try as well. We were staying in the flag room picking them off when they came in. As soon as the Alliance player died, I started spamming my right click over where the flag would be, and presto!

My hardest was capturing a tower in AV. Luckily, I just kept running towards the Alliance base and was able to cap the east tower by myself when the other Horde player got shot and dropped the capture sequence.

The AV match for myself had 20 alliance at one tower with one horde guy, who kept taking back the tower so everyone could get it. I just laughed at my good luck.

Not bad. When I hit the tower by the Alliance boss there was not an Alliance player in sight. Good luck for me that the other guy got pegged while I was out of LoS.

On a different note, my video card took a nose dive last night, so I'm offline until Monday. :(

At least I get to get a new computer out of this tragedy. Oh well, back to playing Starcraft until then. :p

Just a heads up fellow WoW nerds - Felicia Day and her web series about a bunch of WoW guildies "The Guild" has been picked up by Microsoft for a third season!

Watch

on YouTube starting from episode 1 for those of you who don't know what it is :)

In World of Warcraft, you create your alter ego by choosing from a variety of colorful races and powerful classes, and then you begin exploring, questing, and battling in Azeroth, the fantasy setting featured in Blizzard's Warcraft real-time strategy games. Fans of those games (especially Warcraft III and its expansion pack) will spot tons of references here, and they will be impressed at how faithfully World of Warcraft translates so many of Warcraft's little details and even some of the finer points of its gameplay into such a seemingly different style of game. Meanwhile, fans of other online role-playing games will be impressed at the sheer breadth and volume of content on display in World of Warcraft, whose setting seamlessly connects a bunch of wildly different-looking types of places and somehow makes them appear as if they all belong as parts of a whole.

I like this game also. :D :D :D

Grats btw. Wonder who will be neowin 3rd? :)

Oh, we're suppose to post when our guild has killed yogg? My guild has two raids who have cleared yogg and a third who will probably kill him this week. :)

We also go world first hard mode FL :)

Check us out here :)

Alright I'm fed up.

I'm tossing my warrior in the guild recruitment room. I have killed Yogg 25 man as well as every other encounter in Ulduar 25. I have all hard mode achievements in Wrath except Ulduar ones. I also have Glory of the raider with the protodrake to go along with it.

Theres my armory. I obviously want to join a top guild. I have only missed 1 rraid in my current guild and I've been in it since September 08. Typically if I'm not on for a raid that usually means either I'm Dead or hell froze over.

    • If you don't care to read what I said, then you prove my point. Maybe written media is beyond your attention span. Titles are not summaries my friend.
    • Nobody asked... in fact, I said "I don't care about political leanings"
    • TLDR. Here is a far better title (just a basic example): Windows 11 26H2 to allow disabling Web search results
    • Restore will get my vote, only if to see if things are any different, doubt it though but Labour and Conservatives too out of touch and same thing over and over and over…, Lib Dem who?
    • There is nothing wrong with this title. You have completely missed the plot when it comes to "clickbait." The issue was never that a title tries to entice you to click, that is how titles have worked for over 100 years. The issue is when the title subverts expectations, getting you to click expecting something that isn't there. The classic clickbait example is "Boyfriend caught cheating, what happens next will shock you," then what happened next is the girlfriend was upset...which is probably the least shocking outcome imaginable. If sounds like what you want is for the titles to be a collection of 10-word summaries that you can skim, get the just of the story, and only click if you want more details. That is not, never has been, and never will be what titles are. You can go all the way back to print newspapers during the great depression and see the same thing. The newspaper was locked in a vending machine, all you can see is the headline, you choose to put in 5¢ to buy the paper and read the rest if you want. Those headlines were written in a way to sell the paper, not just to provide a summery. Here are two actual headlines from that time, "Wall Street Lays an Egg," or "Stocks Hit Bottom?" Maybe you'd say something like "it was wrong then and it's still wrong now." Okay, fine opinion to have, but it isn't like Neowin is doing something unjurnalistic, they are just following the age-old standards for written media.
