Getting bored of the alliance side, it really is full of kids compared to the horde side, there are more immature people on alliance than there are on horde so i probably will change.

Getting sick and tired of players who simply do not know howto play the game or their class. Tend to always end up in groups where im having to carry people through, people do not tend to progress properly from normal instances -> heroic instances. And are severely undergeared in raids etc. Just last week there was a person in greens in Our ulduar raid. Raid leader decided to bring him because he was his friend.

Hopefully the horde faction will be new challenges and a more mature atmosphere to Raiding in Pug.

good luck with that but i can say its just as bad on the other side

Well it's going to be more than a "Character Re-Customization" which is currently ?12. So I honestly wouldn't be suprised if it cost ?15 for migration and another ?15 for the faction.

That sounds about right to me, I'm annoyed that it doesn't include the server transfer however. When moving chars between accounts you get the option to move it server and if the name is already in use change name too.

I think it's that the heirlooms just won't be extended to 85. They're not extending them because they don't want people to require them to get the world/realm first to 85 achievements. I haven't heard anything about restricting them from Worgens & Goblins.
Yeah, this sucks.

Next they'll tell us you can't give Heirloom items to your Worgen/Goblin alts... because they don't want you to have the bonus for the new races either.

Since nothing has been officially determined, I guess this is a possibility, but it seems highly unlikely. We feel that players can already get a lot of mileage out of the current heirloom items but don't want one piece to be the only thing you ever need to get. If you want to keep on progressing it seems a better route to keep earning new items.

That thread. Nothing official, so we will have to wait and see.

Well the paid faction change is the next thing for Blizzard to churn out more cash out next. But beyond that what new service will they introduce to get more money from us? Premium support?

Look, as much as they do cost a lot, I feel it's necessary. It's the only thing keeping people from ninja-ing some amazing loot or emptying a guild bank and then changing faction, name, and server every 30 days. Without the charge, problems like that would run rampant.

I've played Both on a muddle of different servers. And I can tell you right now that both sides are exactly the same. You get adult players on both, you get kids on both and you get adults that act like kids on both. The only way to play with mature people is to find yourself a good guild and use all your play time with them.

I know it sounds stupid and old - but.. if you don't like it, don't use it.

Not that I like Blizzard or any of their services, but you can't complain about it.

You have to pay for a name change, to move to another place, and etc in real life. Why should a game be any different? :p

The service is there for people that made unwise choices in their character creation or are simply tired of their current situation. Why shouldn't there be a fee?

Agreed. It's like Blizzard's way of saying, "We'd rather you didn't, but if you really want to... here." :)

i said it to a friend recently and still believe it...at some point blizz will sell premade max lvl toons...not with ptr lvl gear of course but with a nice set like dk's end up with by the time they finish the starter zone

I'd put money on they won't. Leveling is already at a breakneck speed and there is tonnes of heirloom items out there to use. With cataclysm next year I'm sure they wouldn't like to see all the hard work go to waste either.

Ok, so I left silvermoon city and and am at undercity ... got totally lost for an hour, was in places I wasnt supposed to be, things were level ?? ... kept dying but I made it out ... now I completed Meeting the Warchief quest and have to go back to Silvermoon City :l Very time consuming! No wonder people get addicted to this ****!

For those saying that $30 is too much for a faction change, look at it this way.

When you purchase the faction change, they throw in a Re-customization and a Name Change as well. The Re-customization is $15 by itself, and the Name Change is $10. If you look at it like that, you get the Faction Change for $5. Essentially, you're paying for three services at one time.

Will this service allow me to customize a character and select a different name once its faction has been changed?

Yes. Each Faction Change purchase will also provide the target character with an included re-customization and optional name change.

Quite frankly, I'm taking advantage of that as I can't stand the Alliance on Khaz Modan anymore.

Sorry about the double-post but I have a question regarding server transfers. I'm planning on moving a druid of mine over to the server of my Death Knight. Mainly because the server my druid is on, is pretty dead. Question is, I want to change the name of my druid and want to do that by creating a level 1 character on the destination realm with the druid's name, so when he's moved a prompt for a name-change appears.

Does this still happen? I remember something about Blizzard just adding an extra of the last letter to the name or some crap like that before but I can't remember if that was during my character restorations or when I moved a character.

Thanks!

Yes, that works. I just transferred my Orc DK over to my current server because some of my friends are changing factions and I really didn't want to do that with my current characters. Apparently the name was taken, so it did add some random letters & numbers on the end, but when I went to log in I was prompted to change the name.

So I bought one (rather, I got a 99$ gift card from Logitech and they paid for it because my G9 broke and they didn't have any to replace it, but it was still under warranty.. ^_^. ).

99$ new.

15 buttons.

1st day Impressions: Oh my sweet Jebus. This thing feels like fondling and octopus laced with oil.

2nd day: Wow.. this mouse is comfortable.

3rd: I freaking LOVE THIS MOUSE.

4th: Awh, why can't I bind the thumb buttons to certain things in TF2? :(

On the 5th day right now and I'm absolutely in love with the damn thing.

Im amazed to hear a good review about that mouse. It is build so damn cheaply. The buttons feel horrible, its very light and flimsy. There have been numerous reports of buttons going bad/squeaking/sticking after a few weeks. I didn't think much of the software either. I do like the whole look of the mouse and the color changing aspect, but that is more or less a gimmick. For the money that mouse runs, there are any number of superior better built options.

    • Microsoft admits one of the most crucial Outlook features is currently broken by Sayan Sen Microsoft is making some decent progress when it comes to Windows 11. Recently we have confirmed reports of some rather useful improvements landing in the next version of the OS, 26H2, wherein GPU driver TDR crashes may finally be fixed, plus the company is also allowing users to disable web content on the Search. On the Outlook front though things have not been so rosy. Last month in May we reported several problems affecting basic functionalities on the app. These included a problem where documents would open blank or corrupt themselves. Following that, Quick Steps, a very useful feature, would no longer work correctly, and finally, Microsoft acknowledged a problem wherein images would fail to load up properly inside the email. Microsoft had resolved those bugs later and almost exactly a month after we reported on them, the company has now admitted a new similarly basic issue, this time on Macs. Users recently started noticing that Outlook would no longer display email threads properly as the original message itself was not displayed. An affected user Tsoumpas, C (ngmb) nicely described the problem in a forum post they made on Microsoft's site. They wrote: "Description of the issue: After updating Outlook for Mac [Version 16.110 (26061317)] on 18/6/2026, replying to any email no longer includes the original message in the reply window. Prior to the update, replies correctly contained the original email text below my response. Expected behavior: The original message should be included in the reply, as in previous Outlook versions and according to the configured reply settings. Actual behavior: The reply window contains only a blank composition area (or only my response), with none of the original email text included." Obviously this must be a highly frustrating for users as noted by several in that thread. The post, at the time of writing, has also been upvoted by more than 40 users indicating that is a fairly widespread bug. Thankfully Microsoft seems to have acknowledged the problem right around that time as it opened a new issue on its official website. In the support article, the company recommends switching to Outlook for Mac from the legacy app, where the problem appears to be happening.
