Yes I do have a skinning knife, and my skill is 100+. The thing is that I don't even get the skinning icon when I mouse over the critters (sheep, rabbits, cows, dears). Like they were never meant to be skin-able.

You can't skin critters.

Meaning, this is a change in the newest patch, right? (because, I was able to skin dears/cows/rabbits before)

If that is so, thanks for the clarification. :)

I think that not skinning critters has always been the case or else you would level up skinning rather quickly at lower levels, there a millions of critters in the starting areas.

Not true, you were always able to skin them up until very recently. I always started out skinning rabbits, deer, sheep and cows. They die with one hit and as you say you could skill up very quickly. I imagine that is why they changed it.

Started my Shammy alt, not so happy i have to level again, but i don't have WoTLK so i can't level my priest. Where can i find the level 70 pvp gear btw, i searched in Honor Hold and couldn't find it in the quartermasters.

You Try Stormwind or Orgimmar (belive thats where the Horde one is)?

After farming badges for like a week straight, I finally have all the heirloom gear for my shaman. He's currently sitting at 29 I believe. I'm leveling enhancement (I've always thought enhance shamans were totally bad ass), so I just started off with the leather rogue gear I used to level my druid as feral along with the 2h mace. I've gotten the chest & shoulders for enhancement shamans (and hunters, I think), and yesterday I finally got the second mace (2 x Venerable Mass of McGowan). I can't wait to hit 40. Everything's just going to blow up :D

Also, after talking with a friend about Diablo 2 necros & WoW warlocks, I want to do a warlock again. Last time I leveled one, I got to mid-30s I believe. But now this means I need to farm another 145 badges for his set

Level 70 PvP gear can be found in Stormwind, since you're alliance. It'll be in the Old Town, in the Champion's Hall.

They are BoA so if you already have a cloth set on another toon just mail them to the new one.

Oh, I know. I don't have another set. I only have the PvP cloth shoulders, but I'd rather not waste stats on resilience when I never PvP. So I need a whole set.

Nono, i'm talking about for my undead priest, i checked all the pvp gear vendors in Orgrimmar but for the life of me i coulden't find the level 70 gear, only the level 60 and level 80 stuff.

You used to be able to skin the deer, sheep, cows, and rabbits. As of a recent patch, I could no longer skin the rabbit or deer. Would have to double check the cows and sheep, but I doubt it.

And yes, you could easily level up your skinning early on that way.

Thanks for the answer. :)

Should be there, but I don't play Horde anymore. Sorry. :/

@IanPete, just guessing, but he's probably using QuestHelper, Carbonite, or Lightheaded.

A combination of Carbonite, Everyquest, Lightheaded, and TomTom.

lol, don't forget the Redbull drinks needed to keep you awake through your boring adventure.

Are you using TomTom for EveryQuest or Lightheaded? Because with Carbonite, you can just click next the quests to track them. Alt+Right-Clicking the same orb also brings it up in the quest log as well, which is nice being able to jump right to the quest you want to look at.

Both, sometimes Everyquest doesn't bring up destinations.. and lightheaded is a nice backup.

I also forgot to mention I'm using Jame's Leveling Guide addon, which guides you around from 1 to 80, but, I'm going through all the old content picking up the stuff I didn't get because I'm a death knight.

Use the Drop Down to show Quest givers for your faction. That's how I did it. Used Questhelper to keep me pointed in the right direciton once I picked 'em up. Just keep switching zones, skipping the ones you remember leveling in and hopefully you get the achievement. If you don't then the time consuming part of going through all the zones you recall leveling in and finding the drops you need to start quests/where you left all on chains start. That's the annoying part, everything else was easy.

And start in starter zones and work up. Can do several quest chains that way. And not all quests in a chain count towards your continent you want. So use WoWhead to browse a lengthy chain to see if it is worth it.

3.3 - Thrall puts orcs in the UC. Cata - Garosh apparently forces an attack against the Worgen. Likely threatening Sylvanas with genocide if she doesn't agree (look what he'll do to Cairne).

You really think a multi million dollar company doesn't have a clue what it's doing?

To put it simply, if Sylvanas left the Horde, she'd surely have the Alliance and quite possibly the Horde on her ass well. Parting does not prove to be a viable solution for herself in terms of survivability. She wants everything dead, but she's certainly not going to risk having herself and her own kind destroyed as well.

As for the Horde, if she left, there'd be a simple question of... do they attack or do nothing? Fighting against her would only take up resources, and doing nothing still leaves them with lower numbers which would seem to hurt them with the Alliance still sitting strong...

Thus, it'd only be mutual to stay allied together.

Sure, there may be a lack of trust, but unless one or the other actually has some cards to play that really give them a true upperhand without so much risk, they're not going to go through with it. Sylvanas would need a really big card to play to go through with her intentions. As for the Horde, they'd need someone with an army as powerful as Sylvanas' to make up for her absence, in the fight to put her to an end. Even then, that'd still put them with lower numbers than they'd want. On top of that, I'm sure the Horde would surely want Sylvanas on their side even if they had such a powerful hand. Sylvanas too would also be interested in helping the mightier Horde to wipe out the alliance first, as it agrees with her intentions anyhow.

I'm not sure how much further you're trying to think this through, judging by the post you have going on the WoW forums, but this isn't rocket science here. It's a matter of priorities and where they are placed. How Blizzard has "painted themselves in a corner" is beyond me.

I'm going to have to agree with Spookie, dead.cell, and basically all the replies in that thread. Blizzard may have messed with the lore a bit during WoW's lifetime, but they know what they're doing and have the foresight to not screw themselves over with this.

    • If you don't care to read what I said, then you prove my point. Maybe written media is beyond your attention span. Titles are not summaries my friend.
    • Nobody asked... in fact, I said "I don't care about political leanings"
    • TLDR. Here is a far better title (just a basic example): Windows 11 26H2 to allow disabling Web search results
    • Restore will get my vote, only if to see if things are any different, doubt it though but Labour and Conservatives too out of touch and same thing over and over and over…, Lib Dem who?
    • There is nothing wrong with this title. You have completely missed the plot when it comes to "clickbait." The issue was never that a title tries to entice you to click, that is how titles have worked for over 100 years. The issue is when the title subverts expectations, getting you to click expecting something that isn't there. The classic clickbait example is "Boyfriend caught cheating, what happens next will shock you," then what happened next is the girlfriend was upset...which is probably the least shocking outcome imaginable. If sounds like what you want is for the titles to be a collection of 10-word summaries that you can skim, get the just of the story, and only click if you want more details. That is not, never has been, and never will be what titles are. You can go all the way back to print newspapers during the great depression and see the same thing. The newspaper was locked in a vending machine, all you can see is the headline, you choose to put in 5¢ to buy the paper and read the rest if you want. Those headlines were written in a way to sell the paper, not just to provide a summery. Here are two actual headlines from that time, "Wall Street Lays an Egg," or "Stocks Hit Bottom?" Maybe you'd say something like "it was wrong then and it's still wrong now." Okay, fine opinion to have, but it isn't like Neowin is doing something unjurnalistic, they are just following the age-old standards for written media.
