Does anyone use any custom UI's? Right now I use the carbonite addon to help with questing, I want a minimal UI, but the ones I find I like are kinda confusing :l

I love that one, but where are the bags? I like to be able to click my bags :/

Helps if you say which UI it is you're looking to use. I found it anyhow, Hitshade UI. He's using Broker for the information being displayed at the top. My best suggestion would be to simply grab Broker Bags and use that as a bag button to click on. It will display up at the top, or should anyway with the other information like your durability and such that is currently there in the screenshot.

If you find yourself not liking it, just look for other bag mods for Broker in here.

Hope that helps. I know what you mean about needing a bag button, as it makes it easier when when multitasking. I use Dominos for the action bars though, and it has an option for that in it. rActionBarStyler doesn't.

lol, my bad. Must've missed it somehow. oO

Anyhow, Shift+B opens all your bags. You could also perhaps edit the keybindings so that B opens them all instead of Shift+B.

Though, I'd highly recommend Bagnon. You can double click the title bar, and easily dig through your stuff to find what you're looking for. Scalable, re-sizable, and so forth too. :)

theres quite a few high profile people who have stopped playing. Nassira who is a popular MM Hunter Blogger said she has lost interest and is not fond of the direction the game is going. I too share the same opinion.

I only ever log on now to do dailys and raid a few times a week, other than that i do not log on anymore, i remember back in TBC i was glued to my seat over 12 hours a day (in the hols ofc) playing wow. Since then i have got a job and mortgage etc but the same buzz i had back in TBC has just gone (the amount of idiots playing the game has gone up though)

I've played since day 1 and i think TBC is better than WotLK. I just think TBC added a lot more to the game than WotLK did.

Also, original WoW was the best. But that might be because everything was new and exciting. I understand we'll never have that feeling again though. However, everything was more epic back then. TBC had a lot of epic fights as well.

I got a few questions for the wow players. I am thinking of giving this game a second chance. I am currently playing Aion and once I get all my toons to the level cap there and gear them out I will need something else to do that is similar. I hated wow when I first tried it back around the launch time mainly due to the slower combat and slow travel speeds (My first MMO was City of Heroes). City of Heroes is pretty much dead at this point so I am willing to work with wow because aion is at a much slower pace too. I wanted to know if I were to buy the game whats the best way to do it in terms of expansions and what not. I know for some games they eventually give away the expansions so I was trying to start with the most recent stuff first. My next question is on the crafting system. Many of the ex-wow players that have come to Aion say that the crafting system in WoW was a joke and that most of the items and crafts were that useful compared to rare drops. Also is there any way possible in the early levels to increase travel speeds?

Screenshot is a few days old, but it's moments like this that make me love this game, even after all these years the scenery still looks great; love the art style.

There is a World of Warcraft battle chest for like 30 dollars that includes original WoW and BC, the crafting system is either a hit or a miss, some professions i find useless, others are priceless (i find alchemy to be EXTREMELY rewarding). You get a mount at level 20 so travel is not slow for very long, you won't be traveling very far for the first 20 levels either, and most classes get a speed booster at around level 16; ghost wolf for shaman, cheetah for hunter, sprint for rogue, mages get blink, paladins have a talent that increases run speed, and flight paths help you move around.

Ironic that.

Anyone, I know, who played in Vanilla thought TBC was ****ing terrible and love WoTLK.

I started playing properly at the end of the TBC before sunwell came out i just ding'd to 70. However i did have a few dabbles here and there in Vanilla but just coulding get into it properly. But the feel of the game did feel good when i played in vanilla much better than TBC.

Yeah i miss that now to be honest, Fights against KT, Sarth, Maly, Yoggy, Anub and co just do not cut it against the likes of Vash, Kael, Illidan, Archimonde, KJ, in terms of epicness that is and the build up. Blizz did try to make the fight against algalon epic but i dont think many people have seen him.

Staying on the Epicness subject, i think most people i talk to mention that the word epic actually meant epic in Vanilla, and when TBC and Wotlk came along the word epic doesnt really hold much ground due to the amount of "free" epics you get handed to you on a plate.

I think blizz should bring back some sort of attunement for certain encounters like they did for algalon ( you cant fight him unless u complete hard modes ). And on top of the i am praying that the fight against arthas is truly epic as oppose to the lack luster encounters we've faced against so far in wotlk.

Ironic that.

I think the quest are far better then they were in TBC. The story is also well done. I never bothered with any of the story in TBC, in LK Im getting as much of it as possible. Havn't hit raid content yet as I took a break and only just hit 77. Need to hit 80 fast though Dragon Age will consume all my time lol.

That is a pretty awesome screenshot, Outlands scenery > The Barrens.

There is this little spot in Hillsbrad Foothills I absolutely love. It has a shrine or something, for a deceased Blizzard employee, and while my subscription was still active I went there at least once a week, just because it's a lovely spot.

Ah, I still miss WoW, but well, a year of school to get through first!

Yeah, B opens my MAIN bag, but I have 4 others plus my quiver on my hunter ... I like seeing them ... plus my frostweave bags are sexy :l

@deadcell I linked to the UI I wanted to use ...

I use Combuctor. It makes one big bag that looks like the Bliz one and it has tabs and searching.

Combuctor is made by Tuller, the same guy who created Bagnon. It appears he may end up dropping support for Combuctor from the looks of it. He has plans for making "search bookmarks" though for Bagnon, where basically, you have the same features Combuctor offered by being able to easily sort by category or quality. I imagine it will also simply highlight the items you are looking for, instead of hiding everything but those items as Combuctor does.

I know, I use most of his addons. I like Bagnon too, but I can't live without the quick-tabs. :)

Oh good lord the Shaman water quest makes me want to /ragequit WoW, I go from Ratchet, to below Camp T., to Hillsbrad, to the barrens, to Ashenvale, to Camp T, to Silverpine forest, to camp t and then back to Ratchet. Thank god i had a mount otherwise i would have killed myself.

Meh, I did it as I went. It's not like Healing Stream and Mana Spring are game-changers when it comes to leveling (or instances at that level, for that matter), so I didn't worry about it too much. It wasn't too bad for me.

    • Why say “Retarded” then? Lol
    • If you don't care to read what I said, then you prove my point. Maybe written media is beyond your attention span. Titles are not summaries my friend.
    • Nobody asked... in fact, I said "I don't care about political leanings"
    • TLDR. Here is a far better title (just a basic example): Windows 11 26H2 to allow disabling Web search results
