Okay, this is getting REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAL ****ing old guys. If one of the staff members is deleting my posts, at least have the decency to say why it was deleted. I'm pretty sure it's got nothing to do with my connection, since I saw the post in the thread after replying...

All I posted was that the shaman totem quests will probably be removed or revamped for Cataclysm, since the zones are getting changed up a bit. Not to mention they've already removed the annoying druid quests so it's not a far fetched idea by any means.

relax, take a chill pill ;)

So I just discovered Arathai Basin 2 ours ago ... WTF! Why didn't anyone tell me about this before? This is great ... Been in 8 and won 8 .. 24 marks, working my way towards a Frost Wolf Howler mount =)

Haha, have you checked the other pvp methods also? My personal favorite is Alterac Valley, i just love the prospect of huge hordes of people rushing at each other and having huge fights and trying to kill the king. It's just extremely awesome when teamwork happens also.

Arathi Basin doesn't reward the Frostwolf Howler mount for marks, Alterac Valley does.

lol, wish I could say mine was that comDeath Knightorc80?b>Paladinolo48 - 48

I also have some repeat classes as I've moved servers over the years. 44 and 48 warriors, 32 and 47 pallies, 76 DK... and low level alts I couldn't get past level 25. I fail at clo:/ies too. :/

I think the more you do it, the more you know the reward and fun of getting to 80 and playing that class in end-game content. I've got 4 80s right now (paladin, mage, DK, and druid) and I'm working on a shaman (currently at 44) and a rogue (currently at 13). I'm also working on getting cloth heirloom gear so I can do a warlock and a priest.

I used to hate leveling with a passion, but the heirloom gear greatly reduces the time it takes, and, as I said, knowing what I'll be doing with all these different characters once I get them to 80 helps motivate me along the way.

That being said, I'm not sure I'll ever do a warrior or hunter... But it would be nice to have a full set of 80s.

i admit i will be creating an alliance character for the expansion so i can be a Wargen however i have yet to determine what class i want to be.

Same. I was alliance up until recently, so it kind of sucks that I'm going to have a single alliance character. Oh well. Blizz is hoping to do cross-faction BoA gear transfers soon, so luckily I can still support him with stuff like that.

Druids for life! (My Druid) :)

I like my druid a lot. I leveled feral with a healing off-spec, but I wasn't very satisfied with the feral DPS. I switched to a moonkin build, using just the healing gear I already had (note: the healing gear wasn't good enough for heroics yet) and I was already pulling 2.7k DPS on heroic bosses. I was blown away

Feral can do some of the top DPS if you know how to play it. The only problem is that feral also has the most obscenely complicated priority system instead of a standard rotation.

Yeah, I just wasn't having fun with it. Complicated can be fun, but it was just over-complicated in my opinion.

It's not over-complicated really. Once you get the cycle going its pretty easy to keep up.

Mangle, Savage Roar, Rake, shred to 5cp, rip, shred to 4 or 5cp while also keeping mangle and rake up, Savage Roar... repeat :)

If you have another druid or a warrior with trauma in the group its even easier.

Once you learn the ins and outs its pretty easy to manage and provides for some pretty awesome dps. I'll pull top 5 on most single target fights.

Anybody else having huge lag? Seems like some European realms are full of it. The ping is going over the top. Also, Blizzard's European sites don't seem to work properly.

yesterday i was having some intense lag when looting candy buckets however i think that the lag is generated from all the people looting the same items at the same time all over the realm causing a back end database issue with item lookups.

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
